Wow. Awesome brew - the first pale ale I’ve really enjoyed. Nice off-white head, reddish gold color in the glass. Aroma is mostly citrus with a fair amount of caramel malt. Hops are prominent in the aroma, but are more subtle than I expected. Taste is more of the same. Very refreshing, with a clean hoppy-citrus finish. Palate is perfect for this style. Fantastic beer overall.

Great pale ale! Very strong hop aroma with citrus, spices, and pine. Aroma also has some sweetness as well. Appearance is deep copper with off-white head that fades. Flavor is of lightly toasted malts, followed by heavy hops. Finish is of mild hoppy bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy & smooth wih decent carbonation, different than alot of APAs and IPAs.

Super hop bomb on the nose and taste. A bit sweeter than your average pale ale. This one might have been a bit old. I’d like to have a fresh one.

I guess I forgot to rate this one as I drank it. Too bad because I probably will not have a chance to get another any time soon. I remember that it was hoppy and enjoyable. I will rerate this one day and give specifics.

Pours an almost clear amber with a small tanned head. Bitter with a sweet backbone. Nice kick-you-in-the-teeth hopsprofile. Pine and citrus aromas. Also caramel and cream. Medium to high carbonation. Full creamy mouthfeel. Bitter finish with some piney aromas. Good stuff... Thanks to drewbeerme!

Draught at Hop Leaf, Chicago
Beautiful amber color; thin creamy head. Quite good body strength, very good malt and toffee flavor, sweet. The aroma is citrusy and resiny. Excellent aromatic hopping and with the necessary sweet body. Excellent.
