Amazing aroma of oranges, grapefruit, pretty much any citrus you can think of is in there, but it’s a sweet citrus aroma, unlike an IPA that is more of a bitter aroma. This reminds me of those sweedish berries candies. My god i couldn’t get my nose out of the glass. Flavour is sweet, its ALL citrus, with that amazing sweetness to finsih, very slight bitterness. WOW. i’m in love! MAN CANDY!

You know, I’ve had this beer many time times......It’s a good beer, but I don’t how people rave over it. I mean, it’s good and all but I wouldn’t buy a case...Which I can because they sell it here in PA. Anyway, too much bullshit, let’s get down to the nitty gritty. Hazy orange/apricot in color with nice sized white head. Good hoppy aroma. The flavor was mild with hops, light malt, tea,and light sweetness. Nice bitter finish. hiddenvariable (194), pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Nov 20, 2007 bottle. pours a clear red amber with a medium head that rather quickly fades to a film, but leaves a good lacing. smell is huge citrus floral hop, with quite a bit of sweet-smelling malt, maybe even some rye bread. cotton candy and spicy, orange and even a bit of grapes, and a great tangy malt backing it all up. taste is like that, with a bit of grapefruit. the hops and malt balance is amazing. moderately bitter palate, with a touch of sweetness for balance. medium bodied and rather lightly carbonated (my only complaint). this is the most amazing american pale ale i’ve ever had. i really wish i could get it more regularly. Nose of caramel malts, grapefruit hops, and pine. Initial taste grapefruit hops overlayed but a mild syrupy caramel malts. Slight sticky mouthfeel. Finishing with a coating of bitter hops and sweet malts. Palate duration is excellent. Medium Body. Definitely Very Drinkable. BabyJoe692 (109), Pickerington, Ohio, USA
