| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Bottle, bought at the brewpub and brought home. Nobody makes beers that have quite the powerful and heady aromas of Three Floyds. Through the classic newly cut carpet smell of strong hops there’s chocolate, lime, peaches, and melon skins. The flavor is singular - although the smells are IPA-ish, the flavor is a delicious and I think right on the balance between PA and IPA. No beer is so great a combination of smell and flavor and the aroma just doesn’t quit. MiP (9157), Sønderborg, Denmark

Good bitterness. Not so sweet, but sweet enough. Grassy hop note, quite caramelly and nice. A bit dry for my tastes, but good. onystrom (800), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 3, 2009 From bottle@yngwie’s. A thin greyish head over a slightly hazed, deep orangey-brown body. Intense hoppy fruit aroma; sweet lemon, yellow grapefruit and apricot. Also a scent of refined caramel/toffee - in perfect interplay with fruity hops.
Taste has a fine, rounded caramellish malt body. Quite sweet in flavor, but the sweetness is restrained and delicate. Fruity, lemony hops is there to balance. A distinct bitterness throughout. Smooth and filling. Perfectly balanced with a dangerously high drinkability. A treat!
