A very clean hoppy fragrance with a great 1/2 inch head. beautiful amber color with slight clinging lacing and a rich, bright flavor.

Bottle. Nice amber/copper color with a huge fluffy light tan head. Good lacing, too. Great aroma - sweet caramel, spicy citrusy hops. Flavor is the same - the citrusy, lightly grassy hops are balanced exquisitely to smooth caramelly malt. I can definitely see why this is the top rated APA - it’s an extremely well-constructed beer.

pours golden red brown with mild off-white head. nose is sweet with grapefruit and brown sugar with a hint of raisens. taste is sweet, like gumballs soaked in grapefruit juice. makes me happy to drink this and wish three floyds was sold in ice cold MN.

A: A lovely rusty amber color with a nice 2 finger head that disappers to nearly nothing. Left lacing all the way down the glass; Beautiful. S: Hops are yelling at me from the bottom of this glass. Grass, Pine, and citrus come wafting from this pint. T: This brew is dominated by hops and pine. It has a slight citrus finish that makes it very refreshing. M: This baby is pretty hoppy for a regular IPA. The mouthfeel is medium but the finish is oh so refreshing.

this is a great beer. pours a bit hazy, citrus notes dominate the aroma, and a nice 2 finger head tops this excellent brew. flavor is profound, with one of the best balances of bitterness i’ve had. a nice strong finish...

Bottle from a trade with StFun. Pours hazy copper color with off white head. Citrus aromas of lemon and grapefruit with some bready malts. Nice hop bitterness with a mild malt backbone. Medium body with lively carbonation. An excellent, easy drinking pale ale. Thanks Josh.

nice dark orange color. very slight fruity aroma. flavor is grapefruit hops, but light grainy maltiness. kind of dusty tasting overall.

From 12 oz. into tulip. Wow! Thank you my Indiana native friend T Jay! What can I say - this is THE BEST APA or IPA I have ever tasted - simply awesome! From the flavorful, citrus and flowery aroma, to the uncanny deep, cloudy amber color to the well-balanced taste which simply leaves the palate pining for more! My first FFF beer, and I am not disappointed in the least. I believe this may be the highest rating I have given, definitely within its category. Writing this as I poured my 3rd one of the night - and boy am I looking forward to drinking this one! SALUDE Baby!

Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a decent, but not overlarge, head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine, not as strong as some but not weak either. Definitely stronger hops than most APA’s, and stronger than a few IPA’s I’ve tasted. Kind of like getting the flavor of an IPA with a bit lower alcohol, which makes for a pretty drinkable combination. Overall a very pleasing beer.
