Bottle.Pours a murky amber with a thin off white head. Very little carbonation, and just a little lacing on the glass. The aroma is full of Belgian spices, sugar. The flavor is smooth sweet malts, caramel, yeast, toffee. Very smooth finish. The alcohol is not that noticable, but does pack a punch. Great brew to share.

Pours slightly cloudy orange/amber, with a small, off white head. Aroma is bananas, spices, sugar, and alcohol. Flavor is bananas, spices, fruit, yeast, caramel, alcohol and malt. Heavy body. Alcohol is pretty well hidded, considered it’s 13%. I like this one a lot, but can understand why some people don’t. Thanks to yem25 for this bottle.

22 oz. bottle via trade with drewbeerme - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a 1/2 finger thick off white head. Lightly carbonated. Faint spotty lacing. Aroma is sweet candy and strong esters (banana). Flavor is sweet malt, esters, light spice, and alcohol. Smooth mouthfeel, but the alcohol is quite noticeable. Medium body. A nice sipper. Thanks Andrew.

Bottle courtesy of iconoklaztor: Poured a deep copper color ale with a small foamy head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of sweet malt is totally dominating. Taste is also dominated by sweet malt with some candi sugar notes. I couldn’t detect any fruity ester or dry fruits elements or even some toffee notes. The whole taste spectrum is dominated by sweet malt. Medium body with low carbonation and no apparent alcohol. I thought this was really one-dimensional and would have expected some complexity- I don’t get why this is arte so high.

Bottle. Big thanks to Sprinkle for sending me this one. Poured a golden amber odyw ith thin head. Aroma is bubblegum, candi sugar, caramel and yeast. Flavor is candi sugar, yeast, earthy tones of some fruit and a light caramel taste. Smooth despite the so clled 16% (I don;t beleive it). Good brew.

On tap at FFF. Dark ruddy red with no head. Sweet paint thinner nose! I mean that in the best way possible. A bit of caramel over some very fruity appley banana esters. Slick full mouthfeel, rather slipper. Sweet paint thinner flavor! Fruit. Caramel. Loads of high alcohols. A bit of bubble gum, creamy. Maybe a bit of that of that old timey airplane dope? This is a really interest alcoholic dimension for a beer to take on. But not bad.

Pour is ruddy brown with a complex and sweet nose. Flavor is similar to the aroma, but with even more complexities. The taste is like an over the top quad with a sweet dried fruit flavor. Really interesting, and the 13% is very well hidden.

Tasting at Dr. Bill’s. Poured clear orange-amber color. Fruity and sugary sweet aroma and flavor. The sweetness sticks around for a while. While it doesn’t taste bad the bigness hides any complexity that might or might not be there. Very warming with a full body.
