Sample from 22 oz bottle, thanks to axilla, KSBF post-dinner. Poured a dark copper under a small covering of foamy beige head that vanished immediately. The nose is heavy rum soaked raisins and candi sugar, lots of caramel, alcohol, and various fruitiness. Very very reminiscent of a higher ABV Dogfish Head Raison D Etra. The flavor was sickeningly sweet with heaps of candi sugar and caramel. Some hints toward the Belgian influence beyond the sweetness in the yeast esters of banana and some fruitiness. Mouthfeel was heavy and sticky with light carbonation and a long lingering finish. Overall, I’m glad to have sampled this guy instead of having to take a 22 oz bottle down all by myself.

Finally found a TF brew I don’t like. This bomber pours a radiant pumpkin orange body, almost looks like iodine. Small almond head quickly falls to a cap. No lacing. Aroma of bubble gum and model airplane glue. Medium body, low carbonation, and some alcohol burn. Taste is malty candy sugar and green pears. Alcohol heat dominates. A very heavy hitter here. Disappointing.

What a beer! Complex is the word that comes to my head. So many flavors that blend to gether to make an incredible beer. I thought I saw this beer being at 13% at the Maproom. Simply put it this is beyond any beer I have ever tasted. I am glad to have had this beer!

very fruity, nice ’warming’ finish, no alc burn, no carbonation; I don’t know whether to love it or hate it, better go buy another bottle to ’cellar’, the stuff ain’t cheap though....later i’ve been informed that there was a bottling issue weakening the carb, i did notice only about a half inch of headspace on my bomber. will drink again, no doubt.

Cloudy amber with foamy, off-white head / Big nose of malt, circus peanuts and spice / Full, malty, syrupy, body with good. slightly hot, finish / Flavors of banana, pear, caramel, clove, coriander, and black pepper / Big syrupy, malty, for me a little clumsy, but ultimately a fine brew.

bottle. amber with a tiny head. big bubblegum aroma in this with alcohol and spice. flavor was very similar. bubblegum is big upfront but still balanced well with spice. alcohol is nice and warming but not overpowering. definately enjoyable for such a big beer.

22 oz. bottle. porurs a rich silky amber with very little head which forms a white ring around the snifter all the way down. Aroma is huge and extremely complex. Candy sugar, bubblegum, and light toffe is mixed with the subtle spice of clove and alcohol and wild yeast.heavy bodied mouthfeel that pierces your tongue with another asault of flavors which include:dried fruit including pear, grapefruit maple syrup, cand clove. will warm you up with its strength. A beauty of a beer for number 100 ! ! ! Cheeers

22oz Bottle, fresh from FFF last month. Deep amber color, very little head, no retention, no lacing. Aroma is very hot with alcohol and sugar, lots of phenols, almost like candied bananas. Flavor is over the top sweet, almost syrupy, very thick mouthfeel, very under carbonated, way too many phenols and really hot with alcohol. Eh, way too brandy-like for me.
