Just pure hop juice with little in the way of hop bitterness. Surprised to see an ABV listed at 10 percent, because it was listed at 6 at the brewpub. Either way, a fruity, pine explosion that was beyond words great for a hop head like myself. Not something you could drink a lot of. xmarcnolanx (798), Kirkwood, Missouri, USA

Wow, one of the best of the fest.
Aroma was huge passion fruit and hoppiness. I also get some spiciness.
Taste is citric, crisp, bright hoppiness.
Finishes dank and resinous.
Awesome. SQNfan (591), Wheaton, Illinois, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jul 27, 2008 On tap at the brewpub: This poured deep copper. Wonderful aromas of tropical fruit (mango, pineapple, orange). In the mouth it was medium-bodied and concentrated with a dry, hoppy finish. The flavors in this one really hit my sweet spot. 12many (231), Ohio, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 22, 2008 On tap at brewpub. Looks very similar to Dreadnaught just a little bit lighter in color. Amber with a foamy white head and great lacing. Citrus, earthy, resin hops with a good amount of peach in the aroma. Flavor is more sweet than Dreadnaught then a smooth bitterness. Great brew. Menu said 6% ABV when I had it. KingpinIPA (842), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

The draft pour came in an 8 oz glass a dark golden color with small white head and light lacing. Powerful nose of piney hops and some caramel malts. The mouthfeell was rich and slick, and it went down very smoothly. Flavor is mostly citrus hops, with a hint of fruit and spices. The finish is bitter. Love this beer. islay (476), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Pours an effervescent, hazy gold. Lemon, lime, and salt combine to create a great, Sprite-like aroma. Really nice, citrus and pine-hoppy taste. Medium to full body. Crisp and sharp on the palate. Delicious and refreshing. One of my favorites of the festival. LtJudge (432), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
