Bottle. Now this is what a stout should be - dark as night, Thick, creamy and yummy. True malty goodness.A little sweet...a little coffee...a little chocolate...a little hops and lots of malt. Very, very tasty.

Not quite your standard dry stout though the pour wouldnt make you believe that. Dark black pour with nice brown foamy head. Nose is where the surprise comes in with a lot bigger hop than you would expect (if you didnt know it was a Floyds brew anyways) Flavor is potent chocolate, with the hops still doing thier thing, bits of coffee come into effect too. Pretty sweet, and pretty tasty overall.

Pours a jet black color with a thin light brown head. Strong aroma of hops with roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is bitter and sweet with an effective roasted and chocolatey malt and hops. The body has a medium thickness with a dry mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Very interesting.

Bottle. Dark black pour, decent head. Roasty chcocolate aroma laced with citrus hops. Sweet roasty malt flavors, with defninite chocolate and notes of coffee, again with more citrus hops. Decent body for a stout. The hops blend well with the malt profile - this could be one of the best session stouts I’ve had. Very nice.

Pours a dark black color with a thin brown head. Aroma is of chocolate, caramel, coffee, roasted malts, and a strong hop smell. A little surprised about the hop aroma but it blends together nicely. Flavor starts off sweet with roasted malts, chocolate and a hint of coffee. Finishes with hops that blend well with the sweet, malty flavor. Taste lingers for a while but the sweet, roasted malts compliment the hops better then I expected. Very delicious.

Got a few of these in trades, thanks guys. Black pour with brown head, small and creamy. Big hop nose, surprise? from 3 FFF’s. Well, a very distinctive taste here. Roasted malts, yes, some coffee and a touch of chocolate, bit a complimentary hops not over the top. Very smooth drink and nice dry finish.

650ml. Pours oil black with nice diminishing brown head. Aroma of wet coffee grounds and dark roasted malt. Very heavy roasted and burnt flavors with a pleasant spicy hop profile. Full bodied and lightly fizzy mouthfeel. Finish is a blend of coffee and caramel, with a slight hint of pine. I am very particular about dry stouts and I tend not to like many, but this was good. Maybe too hoppy for some, bu tnot for me. Another good offering from one of my favorite american breweries.

Huge thumbs up to atpayne for hooking me up. Bottle. Aroma mainly hops piney and citric with a espresso mixed in. Poured nice black with a huge creamy chocolate head. Flavor was definitely interesting heavily hopped with a nice bit espresso and tinge of caramel. Palate was nice also not too thick so it matched the flavors nicely the hops definitely dance on your buds before the coffee tones knock them out. Overall I found this to be damn tasty!!
