On tap at FFF Brew Pub, Pours a golden orange. Piney hop & toasty aroma. Taste piney hops, toasted malts with oakey wood. Some malty sweetness leads to the oak finish. Its fuller bodied & pretty good

Bottle from StFun. Thanks Josh. Pours a lovely orange gold with crimson highlights and a large fluffy beiged head. Toasted malt and citrus abound on here. Malty Little bit hot, but still tasty.

Pours a slightly amber gold with thick white head. Aroma strong of floral hops, but hops that are definitely different, some pine, lots of grass, and a strong malt. Flavor matches with a bit of sweetness and a complexity that is actually not what I was hoping for. Something I would have again, but nothing I would hunt down.

pours a rich golden with a large off white head. aroma is of pine, caramel malt, and sweetness. drinks with a bitter pine bite with a little citrus that quickly fades to a rich malt and caramel sweetness. finishes bittersweet with hops coming through and malt on the back of your tongue.

A solid pour into my 25cl tulip glass produces a three finger thick, light tan colored head. The beer is a clear, honey-amber color that shows a lightly hazed, amber-copper hue when held up to the light. The aroma smells quite crystal malt influenced (caramel, and some toasted pale malt notes) and there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of hop character left here. My second pour of this beer has me noticing a touch of herbal hop aromatics though.

This beer is full bodied, with an almost sticky heft to it. There is a definite bitter hop presence here that doesn’t quite cut through the malt. Herbal hop flavors (notes of lemon balm, pine and a touch of hemp) linger throughout the flavor profile intertwined with the bitterness. The finish has a nice malt character to it that makes me think of toasted pale malt and a cracker / biscuit like note. The malt character definitely contributes lots of caramelized notes, a certain bread-crust like character as well as a chewy note that is not quite toffee like. As the beer warms a touch of marmalade hop character becomes noticeable as does a touch of booze in he finish. There is a definite, sweet-citrus touch of hop character here.

From a fresh IPA perspective, this is not at its hoppy best, but this has aged pretty gracefully and is still perfectly inline with the Three Floyds interpretation of a Double IPA (big malt along with the hop focus).

Pours golden with foamy white head. Significant lace retained in the glass. The hops are aromaticCoconutty taste from the start, above average mouthfeel though it burns by the end somewhat. Drinkable. Turn away the label and drink.

Bottle. Pours amber with a medium sized beige colored head. Aroma is floral, fruity, caramel. Flavor is caramel, again floral, peper, light citrus. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finished somewhat sweet up front, then slightly bitter. Pretty decent stuff.

Golden orange in colour with a long lasting and large white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is lightly perfumy, floral, moderately hoppy, soapy with a bit of pepper. The flavour is floral, some spice, moderate hops, the pepper and perfume continue. Moderately bitter mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, soapy and hoppy.

Its okay but I did sort of grow tired of it as it was a bit one dimensional.
