22oz bottle This is a tasty brew. It pours an opaque dark golden color with a thin white head. The flavor is a bit citric up front with some nice maltiness following it up. The finish is dry. I liked it.

Bottle, thanks to ucusty. Aroma of orange seeds, lightly toasted sweet malt. Flavor added some mango and passion fruit to the orange seed character in the nose, more of a toffee note from the toasted malt. Very smooth bitter finish. Definitely a good beer, even though somehow the seediness (which may actually be from the oak now that I ponder it) and the toasted malt didn’t create my favorite flavor profile ever.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy, murky dark orange with a small white head. Aroma of raisin and sweet malt. Flavor of raisin, malt, lots of oak and piney woodsy notes, toasted malt, and a touch of citrus. It grew on me as I continued to drink. This might be an old bottle, there’s no way to know, but I really enjoyed it. 7/4/8/4/15 (3.8/5)

From bottle courtesy of dpjuart. Nose is terrific, with oak, blackberries and sweet caramel. Toasted grains and light biscuit. Fruity hoppy character. Hazy golden amber with thin off-white head. Medium-heavy watery body with medium carbonation. Warming. Starts sweet with caramel and biscuit, blackberry juice and oak, and light pilsner malt. Great hoppy flavor with balanced sweetness and overall is just a tasty brew. Bitter finish that’s not astringent or harsh. Really, really tasty.

22oz bonus bottle from my friend motortoddhead. Thanks Todd!! Nice hoppy aroma, and nice huge malty backbone. Buttery oak aging is very nice complement to the beer. Smooth easy to drink. Even easier to drink as the carbonation level subsides.

22oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, almost see through dirty orange body with a small, dirty white, frothy head that dissipates slowly and remains nicely laced. Aroma of melon malts and sweet, slightly toasty caramel. Some oakiness and a decent amount of earthy and flowery hops. Flavor is pretty nice and definitely more bitter than the aroma hints at...although not overly bitter. Starts off with a sweet melon, biscuity malt taste and moves into a big caramel and toffee middle. Before finishing, it has a touch of dry oak flavor and a distinct, moderate English hop bitterness. On the cusp of being sharp. Dries in the finish and lingers with an oaky woodiness and bitter hop flavor along with a sweet sugary resin. Medium bodied with a light tickle of carbonation. Overall, a very easy drinking big IPA. I really like the balance and abundance of flavor. The sweet, but oaky and English hop taste make this a really nice sipper.

22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy bright orange amber color with a small white head and fine lacing. The aroma biscuitymalt with moderate sweetness, spices, citrus, caramel. and a little pine. The flavor is toasted bread and biscuits, pine, moderately sweet caramel, toffee, citrus, more pine, vanilla, and a hint of alcohol. Medium-full bodied, the malts can be a bit chewy at times, but I enjoyed this one.
