Oaken flavor is present. Good malt backbone with good rich hops and some honey. Creamy and rich palate. Some woody flavors, not overly hopped up, light fruitiness. Quite good. jcwattsrugger (5361), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Palate: medium body, creamy, soft carbonation Theis (3756), Denmark

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 7, 2009 Pours a clear burnt orange, thin white head which dissipates. Aroma is the characteristic three floyd apricot and hops aroma but buried in oak. Hints of caramel apples, interesting smell. Flavor is sweet dried apricots followed by a nice hoppy bitterness which is accompanied by heavy oak which is lasting in the finish. Very interesting beer - an oak aged imperial IPA. Very nice as usual from FFF sunevdj (1775), Copenhagen OE, Denmark
