Malty and mellow hops with a light cheesiness. Orange and opaque with a rich foamy head. Oaken flavor is present. Good malt backbone with good rich hops and some honey. Creamy and rich palate. Some woody flavors, not overly hopped up, light fruitiness. Quite good.

22oz bottle-pours a foamy dissipates to patchy white ring and cloudy amber color. Aroma is mild citrus-orange/pineapple, medium malt-caramel, vanilla/oak. Taste is citrus-orange/pineapple/floral hops, medium malt-caramel, vanilla/oak, some alcohol. Thanks tattorso for the trades with jwc215 and me.

Appearance: Nothing special. Darker for a typical example of this style. Aroma: caramel, chocolate, coffee, roasty. Definitely malt-dominant. Flavor: Once again, malt dominant, probably too much. Palate: medium body, creamy, soft carbonation

Pours a clear burnt orange, thin white head which dissipates. Aroma is the characteristic three floyd apricot and hops aroma but buried in oak. Hints of caramel apples, interesting smell. Flavor is sweet dried apricots followed by a nice hoppy bitterness which is accompanied by heavy oak which is lasting in the finish. Very interesting beer - an oak aged imperial IPA. Very nice as usual from FFF

Bottle with the Club. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Smells of oak. Sweet with strong oaky aromas and vanilla. Full body. Sticky mouthfeel. Too much oak.

Sampled at tronraner’s Xmas Eve^3 tasting. Clear amber pour with small white head. Sweet vanilla and hop aroma. Flavor is a very mellow earthy hoppiness with some fruitiness as well. And again with some awesome label art!
