Thanks to bgramer for this one. Pours a clear amber/gold with minimal white head that doesn’t leave much in the way of lacing. Really crazy complex aroma. Pineapple, oak, grassy hops, spices, caramel and bready malt, sweet grapefruit. Overall tons of stuff but kind of weird after a while. Flavor is similar with tons of unique flavors dancing around my tongue. More oak and pineapple with some sweet grapefruit and fruity hops . I finally found the word for it too, fresh cut sawdust; that kind of fresh earth, tree like smell when doing wood work. A pretty interesting beer for sure.

Bottle. Poured dark copper color with a large frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus & light malty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium complex toasted flavor with a medium smooth hoppy citrus finish of moderate duration. Intersting beer.

On tap at Three Floyds. Slightly hazy orange body, medium cream head. Herbal hops nose with light, dusty oak. The body reminded me of an old ale, particularly the combination of sweet, toasty malt, vinous notes, and dusty oak, but the hops bitterness is amped up in this beer, creating a bitter, floral overtone. The sweet, berry-like notes fade into the dry, dusty finish. Very well-done.

Great floral, hoppy nose, Nice mild yet satisfying flavor. I could drink this all night, and be perfecty content. More hops than most english IPA’s I’ve grown accustomed to.......but I like it.

Bottle. Pours reddish orange with an impressively large frothy off white head. Intensely peculiar aroma of European yeast and hops. Everything about the appearance and aroma invite you further your exploration of this unique brew. Flavor is fruity hops backed up by deep sweet malts. Extremely smooth finish adds to it’s dangerous drinkability. Not your normal IPA. Definitely gets points for being something different.

Bomber shared by Kmweaver at the shenandoah campout. Thanks Ken! Pours a nice deep amber with a sticky thic off white head. Aroma is really pungent with earbl and tea-like english hops- a bit citrus but mostly just tea and fruity hops- very resinous though and a tacky sticky sweet malt backbone as well. Syrupy sweet malt profile in the front, nice herbal and tea hops, with some light american hop character coming through a bit- nice clean bitterness and just a nice DIPA overall.
