| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 12, 2008 22oz bottle: Fiery amber pour with a rich head that forms a nice cap. The aroma is bursting with the signature FFF hop intensity, offset by a fantastic oak and caramel creaminess. Mildly bitter, the body is the perfect unity of hops, malt and oak. Grassy and piney bitterness leads off, followed by a punch of sugary caramel and toffee and trailed by complex vanilla and oak. Rich and chewy, this IPA or EPA or whatever displays the perfect union of hops and malt. The oak is simply the icing on top. Very well done. WeeHeavySD (3041), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Pours copper with a frothy white head and a nice crisp hoppy nose. Taste is really nice and crisp with a nice malty backbone. This is a solid beer from the boys at FFF. bdigital (591), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Bottle: Cloudy orange color with a minimal cream head. Prototypical FFF’s stylized brew consists of citrus, toffee, some grassy notes and boat loads of hops. Medium-full bodied mouth feel...on this note I must say that these guys just have a knack for making their IPA’s have perfect body. Earthy, caramel malt and hops are abound in the flavor with a bit of the oak showing through on the finish. Merrill (77), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Aroma of cranberry and Pez.This is another real winner from 3F! Lots of hops and earthy old citrus in the middle, vanilla with pepper with an almost creamy mouth. The finish is straight hops - very crisp for this style. I wish I could afford two or three more right now! Crosling (1856), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 4, 2008 Light gold color with a bounitful head of foam. Great hop nose, pure 3 Floyds. Minty, super juicy and citrusy, also a little herbaceous as well. Flavor has a ton of character and is nearly perfect. Incredibly well balanced. Super hoppy and bitter, with a lot of juicy citrus character, a lush malt character of caramel and sugared fruits, and then on top of all that, it has well intergrated oak hints of vanilla and toasted wood. A surprise. What a well crafted brew. merlin48 (521), New Tazewell, Tennessee, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jul 2, 2008 22 oz bottle pours a hazed rusty orange amber body with a small beige head. Lots of clingy lace sheets the glass. Aroma is bold, with citrusy pineapple and orange joined by some florals and a hint of biscuity malt. Exceptional palate. Medium body supports a velvety carbonation with an ideal earthy hoppiness. Taste begins with blood orange and pineapple accented by unbuttered toast and honey. Hops take a bitter pine cone turn midway through but the citrusy pineapple sweetness recovers to dominate the finish. Exceptionally well balanced. Probably the best beer I’ve had all year. hombrepalo (780), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Dark Amber pour with nice fluffy head. 13 for a bomber kind of pricey, don’t get me wrong this is some quality shit. Has to be one of the best EPA’s I’ve had. Flavors are amazin; Bitter and hoppy to the max. Leaves that heavy hop taste in your mouth. Loved it. lachesis (759), St Idesbald, Belgium
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 30, 2008 Cristalclear orange-amlber beer with good carbonartion and white, slight yellow head. Aroma is interesting hoppy in a clean way. It has a good malty caracter with soft hints of nut, cereals, bread, wood, forest soil and dried shitake mushrooms. Taste is nice and on the dry side wich I like. The nuttyness is slight present and add some complexity to the brew. the crispy hops brings it to balans and the woodtouch brings some extra backbone into the beer. Alc is well hidden and in the afthertaste you could fiend some nutpeel bitterness. BTW, i like the Artwork
