Bottle courtesy of Blutt59. Hazy light orange pour. Nice spicy aroma. Hops are present. Some sweet citrus notes are around also. Very nice taste! Has hoppy upfront feelings with a solid middle body. Finish edges out on the sides of the tongue. Finish is pleasant and lasting. Well done!

Bottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a small wispy head over a hazy golden body. Aroma of honey, butterscotch, brittish hops and alcohol. Taste is alcohol, caramel and light hops. Very malt forward with a lingering alcohol taste.

22oz - Orange color, light tan head and nice lace. Mild hops on nose. Palate was a dusty cocoa, not what I expected or wanted.

7/4/09:Amber with a medium white head. Aroma of earthy hops, fruity and sweet malts, with noticeable alcohol. Sweet upfront followes by a brash mixture of grassy, herbal hops, fruity malts, and wood. Finish is lingering herbal, earthy hops, wood, and alcohol. I like the idea here, but this one just seems to be a bit of a miss. Leaves it’s mark though.

Bomber via trade. Mostly clear medium amber color with a creamy, lasting one-finger white head. Aroma is caramel malt, spices, and floral/citrus hops, heavier on the malt than most IPAs. Seems misclassified as a Pale Ale though as it is rather hoppy and calls itself an IPA. Flavor is caramel malt, earth, slight smokiness, dead leaves, table sugar, and citrusy hops. I was able to pick more flavors out of this one than I typically do somehow. Pretty complex and good overall with a fairly full palate for the style and good carbonation level. Another good one from FFF.
