22 oz bomber acquired via trade. Fantastic label art as usual from 3F. Poured a deep orange hue with sticky white head and lacing. Aroma was much more muted in the hop department than I’ve come to expect from what sounded like a Double IPA, much more of a sweet caramel malt with citrus, floral and earthy hops behind it. The flavor also is decently malt heavy, with some light vanilla and those floral and citrus hop notes offsetting it. Very smooth on the palate. An incredibly interesting offering, not sure it’s going to become a favorite style but it was pretty tasty all the same.

Bottle. Lemon, orange and pine hops with mild barley malt aroma. Hazy amber color with small head. Sweet orange flavor initially followed by bitter pine hops finish. Nice beer - very hoppy for an EPA.

Bottle. Aroma has a lot of hops, fruity and with some caramel malt. Taste is fruity and a bit sweet, with lots of hops and a solid malt background. Notes of dried fruits. Thick mouthfeel and the 3 Floyds own brewery taste somewhere as well. Really nice one.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, over ripe fruits, and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with notes of alcohol, fruit, malt citrus and some herbs, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours deep golden - almost amber - with a slight haze and a small, rough off-white head. Medium body, very sweet fruit - peaches in particular - and some sweet caramel. Solid bitterness with quite some alcohol in the finish. Nice one. 301109

Label is great, for what that is worth. Sort of a cross between an Imperial IPA and American Strong. Over the top sweet malt flavor with a healthy supply of Hops.
