Poured a deep orange hue with sticky white head and lacing. Aroma was much more muted in the hop department than I’ve come to expect from what sounded like a Double IPA, much more of a sweet caramel malt with citrus, floral and earthy hops behind it. The flavor also is decently malt heavy, with some light vanilla and those floral and citrus hop notes offsetting it. Very smooth on the palate. An incredibly interesting offering, not sure it’s going to become a favorite style but it was pretty tasty all the same.

Taste is fruity and a bit sweet, with lots of hops and a solid malt background. Notes of dried fruits. Thick mouthfeel and the 3 Floyds own brewery taste somewhere as well. Really nice one.
