does not count  Jul 8, 2008 Poured a nice clear amber with a nice two finger head. The head stayed full for several minutes. Full of flavor. Palate was nice and smooth. The aftertaste was a bit harsh but flaverful.

Jul 6, 2008 Bomber from the Beer Geek. Reddish brown color with a one-finger beige/tan head. Aroma of mildly roasted caramel and a good dose of resin hop - maybe citrus too. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Body thins rapidly as carbonation leaves. Flavor is caramel malt, mild citrus bitter, and there’s roasted malt and some bitter in the end. Refreshing, but not over the top in any particular character.

Jul 5, 2008 Poured a nice ruby red color with a tan head that disappeared almost as fast as it developed, quite disappointing. Smell was awesome, pineapple and resiny hops greet you, probably not very true to style, but it’s smells so good. Taste reminds me of red Kool-Aid for some reason, piney hops kick in to help out and a slightly roasted finish. I just didn’t care for the Kool-Aid taste, maybe I’m missing something. Lower carbonation and light to medium bodied. It was a decent beer and loved the smell, but I can’t say I’d search this out. This is the first FFF’s that I didn’t find to be awesome, but then again, maybe I’m missing something. I’ll probably try it again to double check.

Jul 3, 2008 22oz bottle, courtesy of bwkrieger. Thanks, Brian! Pours a murky, amber-brown color; light-tan head with mixed-bubbling lacing. Solid amounts of tea-like malts, chewy oranges, and resiny soft bitterness in the aroma; like orange tea from the Amarillo, but nothing astringent. Medium mouthfeel: tea-like malts, red fruits, dried oranges, and some light citrus; very much malt-forward, with some slight acidity and chewy citrus; very drinkable and sessionable; could use a touch more hops, but I’m not sure how old this is. Lengthy finish: orange and mineral hop bitterness, and plenty of tea.

Jun 27, 2008 Bomber from marino’s in toledo. Thanks to K’s mom. pours a hazy reddish orange with a medium beige head. has a citrus (pineapple and lemon) and hop smell -- with something I couldn’t identify until I read some other reviews: a touch of grass. the smoking kind. not that I know anything about that. anyway... the taste is sweet caramel malt with fruit hops and minimal but lingering bitterness. great balance. just a little thin by 3F standards. like this a lot though.
