omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 20, 2005 Bottled. Clear ruby, brief head. Rich lychee aroma. Light to medium bodied with very clean mouthfeel. Some crystal malt flavour beneath a fluffy blanket of aromatic hops. Bitter, yet aromatic finish. Nice, but one-dimensional. Papsoe (10285), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 6, 2006 (Bottle 65 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with an off-white head. Lovely soft aroma of caramel and aroma hops. Medium body with sweetish caramel notes and lovely aroma hops. Very harmonious and smooth. A nice Secret Santa gift from Immy. 290806 Oakes (6973), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Apr 7, 2005 Brigh amber-red colour. Massive, one-dimensional amarillo aroma has my yawning. Sweet, warming body with hints of caramel and some well-extracted malts. Balanced by soft, woody hops. Slightly acidic finish. Despite the overblown dry-hopping, it’s actually a pretty tasty beer. argo0 (6229), Washington DC, USA Apr 10, 2005 (22oz bottle) Clear copper body with small beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some pineapple, caramel, light tangerine. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some pineapple, light caramel. Definitely plenty of hops, but not especially bitter. Watery medium body, some resin. No idea why 3Fs considers this an Irish red -- tastes like an APA, a very good one at that. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Brian Boru Irish Brand Red Ale

dark amber, whispy head, huge sweet grassy pine citrus hop aroma, lots of piney hop flavor, touch of sweetness but it’s all about the hops, long bitter finish

rouses to a big tan head and leaves drops of lace, not near the big aroma of prior samples, creamy body, very earthy quality to the hop flavor
