Apr 13, 2009 Glowing amber hue with a sticky off-white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma is bursting with juicy, spicy, resinous hops along with a honey-like sweetness. Pine resin hits the palate first, followed by bright, juicy burst of fresh hops, notes of peach and caramel, with a peppery, almost rye-like spiciness in the finish. Hops forward, yet very well balanced. Full, sticky body. A damn fine sessionable brew.

Apr 11, 2009 Updated: Oct 13, 2009Pours a slightly hazy, apricot orange with a small white head that leaves a ton of lacing. Huge hop aroma...pine needles, grapefruit, orange, lemon zest, and a tiny hint of malt. The flavor is sweet at first, but quickly turns bitter and hoppy, with a robust earthyness. There is a lot of pine and fruit in the flavor as well. Although this seems to be balanced fairly well, the taste of the malt is well hidden. Nice finish with just the right amount of I.B.U.s. This is all about the hops. Medium bodied with light but sharp carbonation. Wish this stayed this fresh all year.

Apr 6, 2009 Cloudy amber orange colored with an off white head.Smell has a good hop and caramel scent which mix well with pine and grapefruit.Taste is pine and hops up front with a definate caramel ending. The sweet malt flavor was very good but was not a bitter as I was expecting.

Apr 5, 2009 Solid amber color with decent carbonation. Nice fresh hop and malt miix right up front. Sweet. Bubblegum. The flavor similarly bespeaks hop and malt sweetness with candi sugar prominence and some bubblegum as well. Perhaps the New Zealand hops give it that twang. Tasty stuff.

Apr 4, 2009 22oz bottle. pours yellow/gold with a very floral hop nose. first sip is gritty resinous hop with a slight citrus finish. very nice brew.

Mar 24, 2009 Pours gold/copper with a generous white head. Smells of citrus and caramel. Tastes of both bitter and sweet citrus with a spicy finish.
