Pour is a hazy copper with a large white head. Aroma is a very nice crisp pine with lots of florals. Flavor is a bit weaker and gets even a bit watery at the end. Some citrus hop and a bit of caramel malt come out but nothing to put this into the excellent category. Just an average IPA.

Copper murky color with a medium white head. Aromas of non descript citrus and pine. Medium to thin light body. Solid hop bitter presence with a touch of sweet malt. Pretty easy drinking. Decent brew but does not leave you craving another.

22 oz. Bottle. Pours a clear golden copper with a creamy tan head. Aroma is loads of caramel and fresh piny hops. Flavor is first and foremost hops, with plenty of caramel and some nuttiness. Wasn’t expecting it to be this malty. Medium bodied with medium carbonation.

Dark reddish orange amber colored pour. Nose is pineapple, citrus, and malt grain. Taste is the same with additional earth and caramel notes. Taste is kind of weak and the mouthfeel is a bit disappointing.

Bottle thanks to ilovedarkbeer. Didn’t realize that this was only 5.5% ABV. Pours with a hazed copper body and a fluffy off-white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma has some strong Simcoe pine, and some citrus hops, caramel and tangerine. Nice tang to the aroma. Taste is citrus lemony with pineapple, dirt and caramel. Full mouthfeel yet some how watery. Very strange.

22 oz bottle. The fresh aromas coming right out of the bottle, even before the pour, just make me happy, 3fs never seems to let me down in this category. Aroma notes of pine hops, 3fs grapefruit/mango, some spring floral hops as well, a good amount of melon fruit and field grains for the malt side of things. On the pour, the head was very large, a creamy and wispy off-white cloud that most went down, with a nice bit of sticky lacing, medium-light opacity, and tropical berry-orange in color. A Very nice and heavy hopped flavor. Medium and sticky wet feel on the palate, with a well crafted balance as well. Mango, medium sweetness red fruits, and melon stand out pretty strongly, a touch of pine spice, the right amount of balancing mixed cereal malt, and the finish with much more pine and herbal lingering and prominent hoppy bitter. Is there really this much flavor going on in a 5.5 abv beer? Just a really, really nice beer. I’m starting to think that 3fs couldn’t screw up a beer even if they tried.
