Big perfumed dank melon and creamed orange, bright, wet, hugely green. Celery and sweet spinach, harsh, bitter, astringent, etc., assertive and aggressive, nearly impressive but a little too young and green.

VERY sessionable, this is relaxed. while not overly challenging, this remains interesting and overall fulfilling. unique amongst wet hop ales for its almost ’moderation’ from a brewery known for no holds barred with the green buds. The aroma is amazing. Tropical fruits, bitter hops, grapefruit, caramel, grass, some citrus rind. Flavor is bitter at first, then fruity, with some caramel before a very bitter finish. Mouthfeel medium bodied and sticky, in a good way. This beer is so drinkable I wish I’d bought a case. 17thfloor (1507), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Fresh piney/resin hop aroma. First taste is very very bitter and earthy, lightly sweet and floral. Pretty straightforward flavor, mostly bitter. Bottle sampled 12.30.08. Pours a clear dark orange amber with a few bubbles and a small off-white froth. Fantastic aroma, fresh hops, piney resin, sweet, more citrus than on draft. Flavor follows, more earthy and bitter, floral, piney, lightly toasted sweet malts, a tad green. Flavors meld together really nicely and finish quite bitter, a bit soapy with notes of bubblegum. Medium bodied, fluffy carbonation, not really sticky, but more creamy. . . . 8 4 8 4 15 Miver (575), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured hazy copper in color with a medium sized beige head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of grapefruit, and citrus hops with caramel malt. Tastes of sweet ripe citrus, grapefruit, hops, caramel, and orange peel. Very nice smooth drinking harvest ale. Very enjoyable.
