650ml bottle. A strong fruity/citrusy aroma with notes of tangerines, pineapple, and other tropical fruit as well as some nice pineyness that is far from over the top. The fresh hops are not quite as vegetal as some fresh hops can be. There is also a nice honeyish malt base. The aroma is really, really good. Copper colored with a short lived off white head. Excellent clarity. Some signs of bottle conditioning in latter pours. Initial taste is very floral with lesser notes of citrus and, lesser still, pine followed by a nice sharp bitterness and an explosive hops flavor that comes across as earthy and floral, with light citrus and a decent amount of caramel and malt. There is some definite sweetness that helps offset the hops and makes this into a very drinkable beer. Mouthfeel is really nice as well. What amazes me is the incredible hops flavor this had with these two hops, I am not very familiar with Pacific Gem, but it must have some nice aromatic qualities because Simcoe, although a great hop, seems to be somewhat one-dimensional in my opinion. This is a very well done beer and so easy to drink, wish I had more of this! Well done 3F! Now amongst my favorite IPA’s even though it could be argued that this is as similar to a West Coast Pale Ale as an IPA.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy with floating yeast chunks softly carbonated golden brown colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was hoppy malty and bready. The mildly vinous crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of malt crisp strong hops and was vinous with a malty backing. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

I love this beer. I know it isn’t hard to make something taste good that’s only 5.5%, but these hops have real character. A very apple-citrus-floral arrangement gives the flavor its allure and tinges the color that enticing red-orange that all the girls on your block will go crazy for. For me, one of their top 2 beers.

Bomber from BBB63! Nose is piney, floral, citrusy hops; copper with a big straw head; flavor is mild hop bitterness, a light fruitiness, and some caramel; finish is slightly bitter. Good IPA but not great!

Thanks to lb4lb for the bottle! Pour is a coppery orange with a nice white head. Good lacing.Aroma of fresh piney hops and sweet malt. Flavor is pretty bitter up front with great fresh hops dominating. Bitter finnish but malt is present as well. Medium bodied and a good beer.

Bottle courtesy of my brother. Poured a nice orange color with small to minimal head. Aroma was fantastic; grapefruit and fruit/citrus. Flavor was good for a harvest/fresh hop ale. Smooth and clear; decent amount of hops in the finish, but not substantial. Palate was solid. Great sessionable.

Bottle, courtesy of alexanderj. Orange pour with almost no head. Aroma of peaches, citrus / grapefruit. The flavor is the same, sweet from the fruit initially, and with a dry grainy malt finish (like an APA finish). Good fresh-hop beer, almost no bitterness.

22 oz bomber. Pours a clear orange caramel with a medium sized creamy beige head. Floral hop aroma with hints of grapefruit, pineapple, papaya and pine. Taste is floral hoppy with hints of mango, pineapple, pine and citrus. A bit watery, but great for a 5.5 % beer.
