Flavor - neutral smooth initial taste of subtle malt, not sweet, with more pronounced hoppy, slightly bitter finish. Light bubbles on tongue. Palate - Soft and silky beginning with sharper finish. Nice contract. Overall impressions - good, non offensive balance of malt and hops. Not incredible, but nothing to dislike. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Light amber, soapy, clingy, medium sized head. Aroma is very nice. Piney, citrus, and quite malty as the hops have faded,a bit. I bet this smelled like a hop monster at first bottling. Clean, smooth, malt and hop flavors. Bread, caramel, and pine/resin. This finish is lingering, bitter, hoppy. Light malt lingering. Extremely drinkable. Ungstrup (15242), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2009 Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of hops, but also lighter notes of grass, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry bitter finish. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 9, 2009 Slightly cloudy golden color, short soapy head. Mild grainy hop aroma, perhaps a but too much time on it. Even more mild hops on the taste, slightly sweet. Pretty tame, but tasty. Theis (3756), Denmark

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 4, 2009 Bomber (2009) in a wine glass. Pours a slightly hazy orange w/ a half-inch bone white head. Extremely fresh, hoppy aroma w/ strong notes of pineapple and underlying pine needles. Flavor has grapefruit, light, dancing hops (w/o the slightly peaty flavor characteristic of dry hopping) and sweet crystal malts. Medium bodied, ending slightly dry and remarkably clean. Not as complex as most FFF brews, but striking in its freshness and the change from the standard hops profile (one which I love, but variation is always nice now and then!) Worth spending on the bomber for an easy drinking Spring beer.
