Tap @ the brewpub. Semi hazy and bold orange in color with a big dusty off-white head. Vanilla sugared corn flakes kick start the aromatic theme, pulling from honey, vanilla milk steamers and natural vanilla extract. Nice, smooth flavor reminiscent of a spoonful of Honeycomb cereal, soggy from sitting in the milk for some time. Milky vanilla structure. Vanilla wafers wading in richly churned New York-style vanilla ice cream. Faint accents of condensed milk and crème de coconut. Gently, waxy palate feel with the faintest hint of alcohol presence. Toned, honed carbonation, finishing like cheesecake flavored frozen custard. Stands out amongst other cream ales, and the first time that complexity has graced the category.

Draft, at the new Floyds Brewpub! A big, big beer, all right. Light, slightly cloudy orange body under a kind of soapsudsy head. Smell is pretty yeasty, to go along with it. Initial impressions of Wyler’s Orangeade mix. Rather gentle on the hops for a Floyds beer. At the moment, more alcohol than flavor, but it’s very young for an Impy anything. It’s mostly Munich malt brewed to impy strength, and frankly, that intrigues me.

Tap at the brewpub. This was probably the best all-around beer they had at the brewpub. It was a bit sweet at times, but I suppose cream ales aren’t too hoppy. Hazy copper amber. Minimal white fizzy head. Very smooth and velvety creamy flavor. Light fruity hops, some sweet lavendar malt, and a sweet earthy character almost reminiscent of a bier de garde. Not much aroma coming off... some flowery malty hops. As it warms, some piney hops are coming through in the taste. A little fizzy and very smooth and slightly coating in the mouth.

On Tap @ the brewpub- Pours a slighty hazy golden color, small vanilla colored head. The aroma is bubblegum, wheat, creamy nose. Flavor is sweet, more bubblegum, esters, fruits, lemons peaches, a sweet hop kick. Very smooth, light but flavorful. Well done.

Imperial pint served at the brewpub. Yellow/orange in color, with a sticky white head. Not much of an aroma. Maybe some adjuct character, but the flavor is full of sweet apricot and peaches. Maybe a vanilla milkshake. Very nice. Very full body. I enjoyed the hell out of the beer. Eat your heart out Little Kings!

Draft at 3F. Pours a cloudy copper orange with some white fizzy foamy head. Smells of some fruity esters, sweet caramel malts, and maybe a touch of vanilla and spice. Taste is very creamy and smooth. Light fruit notes combine with the sweet caramel malts and vanilla to make for a drink with creamy juicy fruity goodness.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized long lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind a good lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was slightly hazy and orange brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of malty hoppy mild . Its mouth feel is initially tingly rich thick with a lingering tingly sweet palate and a mild caramel malty aftertaste. Its flavor contained malty hoppy doughy notes and was very tasty with a sweetness to this cream ale. All-in-all very nice brew.
