half pint at the pub (of course). interesting that the description on ratebeer mentions british malt and liquit hops while the beer menu at FFF talked about this beer being made by robots. as you might expect from a robot brew this was sort of one dimensional but had all of the hoppiness that I might want in an IPA. Not the best that I have sampled in Munster but that is a tough standard to live up to.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a very hazy dark orange colored body. The mild aroma was hoppy and floral. The mouth feel was "Oh My God! What an initial hop rush!" very strongly tingly at the start and at the finish with a biting hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and strong floral hop pineyness in a deep malt base. A wonderful best in class brew.

On tap at the brewery Dark Lord Weekend. This lightly golden IPA throws up a long lasting white head. The aroma is malty and the flavor is hoppy. A big hop bitterness builds into the finish, but a sweet malt balance descibes this one.

On tap at 3F during RBSG Road Trip 2007. Lightly hazed gold with a white head. Tight lace. Peachy nose, soft citrus and caramelBig grapefruit flavor, peach and mild caramel. Good!

Slightly hazed straw yellow with not much of a white head. Big sweet fruity gummy bear nose. Tropical fruit sort of hops. A big wonderful sweet juiciness to the hop character rather than an over the top bitterness. I would argue this isn’t balanced, but that’s not a bad thing at all. Full creamy mouth with nice smooth relatively subdued bubbles. Fruity full succulent hops. A bit of a wheaty estery character perhaps? A creamy finish, with those gummy bears certainly returning.

$4 glass from FFF. my first beer at the brewery 2 nights ago. good starter beer, and i could have more if i wasn’t at FFF trying as many different beers as i could. Decent IPA, lower IBU (taste at least) than some, but a good session beer.

Nice cleanly hoppy IPA (made by robots according to the brewery :)). Had this beer after Dreadnot so it was difficult to determine the hop varieties used but it seems complex and spicy. Enjoyed it much but not my favorite from the brewery visit.

on tap. pours clear golden with white head. nose is fruity hops. flavor is spicy hops with big malt and biscuit base. crisp and refreshing. but $4 for half pint, whatever.
