On tap at the brewery. Dark murky brown color with a nice head. Aroma is malt and yeast with some tones of fruitiness. They serve it quite cold, which makes the beer hit you as malty with some banana and yeast. As it warms it gets more character and has some more fruity tones and becomes lightly bitter. Very similar to the Schneider Aventitus. Though I have to say I think this is probably better, more malt and more yeasty fruit. Well worth the trip.

Drank at Three Floyd’s Brewing Company during the 2007 Dark Lord Day: The nose was filled with bananas, milk chocolate and spice. In the mouth it was rich, had solid weight and great texture. This is a beer I could drink anytime of year, from a hot summer day to a cold winter night. I sure hope they bottle a beer like this! Or, at least I get to try it again.

On tap at FFF brewpub. Pours a hazy brown with golden amber highlights and a creamy/bubbluy off white lacing head. Aroma of banana, clove, toasted malts and some chocolate. Flavor of banana, clove Hefe yeast, hints of chocolate, toasted malts, on the dry side with a touch of honey.

On tap at FFF.This was a darkish brown to black looking beer with a taste of a good wheat beer with a malty type finish.IT was a surprise to see on tap and very enjoyable.CHEERS to the guys again for never sticking to the same style and always trying new types of beer, very enjoyable and very tasty.

On tap at the pub. Murky brown liquid with a whispy beige head that was accompanied by a lasting ring of big bubbles around the edge. Soft puffed wheat nose with banana and yeast. There are lots of the traditional banana and clove flavors, but all wrapped in chocolate, Super Sugar Crisp cereal and toffee sweetness. The cloves are joined with nutmeg and cinnimon. It coats the mouth with malt syrup and my lips were sticky. The 7.4% is noticable but not intrusive. Very nice beer.

On tap at the brewery Dark Lord Weekend. Muddy dark brown body under a long lasting off-white head. Complex aromas of Chocolate, spice, banana. The flavor is spicy with plenty of clove coming through that follows into the finish. Full bodied, rich and smooth. Dangerously drinkable.

On tap at 3 floyds. Aroma of chocolate and actually some of the banana metioned in the description. Slight cloudy dark color with a small head. Smooth and very creamy.

On tap @ Three Floyd’s: Pours a dark brown to black color with a light tan head. Aroma, banana, roasty wheat, some yeast. Flavor, banana, yeast, kinda cloyingly sweet, some wheat, and some toasted malts. Pretty good stuff.
