BBB63 (4196), La Porte, Indiana, USA Jun 13, 2009 Tap at 2009 DLD: Slightly hazy light coppery hue with a frothy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of grassy and herbal hops, some pine. grapefruit and mango, biscuit and caramel malts, touch of pepper. The taste follows suit with a moderate hop forward character and balanced malt overtones. Some fruity acidity and hop spice but not in your face either. The mouth feel is sprite and refreshing, slight astringency upon the finish. A good example of an APA. Pawola22 (676), Kansas City, Missouri, USA May 2, 2009 On tap at DLD ’09. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange body with a finger-width, white, fluffy head that dissipates slowly and leaves a generous lacing. Aroma is mostly the standard FFF floral citrus. Lots of hops in this consisting mostly of grapefruits and lemons. Some light malts, but mostly hops. Flavor is very hoppy, similar to the aroma. Lots of citrus, earthy bitterness. Some very light caramels up front, but again, mostly hops. Palate is light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation and a moderate pine linger. Overall, a decent enough beer with a lot of hop flavor, but a little off balance IMO and unimpressive. pantanap (1322), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 1, 2009 tap at maproom (not a recent rating)... pours a hazy yellow pour with a one finger frothy white head... floral and citrus hops, clean and fresh... sharp citrusy hops, well carbonated with a mild bitterness. very drinkable and refreshing. bdigital (585), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Apr 29, 2009 Draft @ DLD 09: Pour was a light copper with a medium-sized white head. Nose was pineapple, spruce and light caramel malt. Medium bodied...very dry. Flavor was dead-on with the nose with an emphatic dry, piney finish. Decent stuff. daknole (2801), Plantation, Florida, USA Apr 29, 2009 DLD. Amber pour. Citrus hops, malt and some tropical fruits. Flavor profile is hoppy and fruity. Dry finish is right. Not bad at all. kseecs16 (865), Naperville, Illinois, USA Apr 5, 2009 On tap at The Publican. Orange amber body. Really nice full lacing down the glass. Off-white head. Soapy hoppy aroma with a quite bitter flavor on a light body. Finishes quite dry and lingers.

EddieG (163), Palos Heights, Illinois, USA Mar 28, 2009 Another solid APA. Aroma is standout citrus and pineapple with a good helping of grapefruit and spruce at the back of the throat. Slight warming as it made its way down the gullet. A biscuity note and pronounced bitterness in the finish. A bit dry.
