gyllenbock (240), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 15, 2009 Sample from bottle in April 2009. Golden amber with a small white head. Very fresh an inviting aroma with lot of tropical fruits, lemon, caramel. Flavor has the same ingredients. Very hoppy with a great balance. Full body. sebletitje (1880), Tampa, Florida, USA Oct 10, 2009 courtesy of hopshunter.
Pours golden, white head.
Aroma and flavor, lots of hops, plenty of citrus and lemongrass. Some caramel malts come add a nice finish. Overall beer is more on the sweet caramel side than the hop bomb I was expecting. Still a great beer. jahmokie (14), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 5, 2009 simply outstanding. lots of biting citrus hops balanced with a smooth malt background. delicious. lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Oct 1, 2009 Bottle thanks to StFun. Clear golden orange, off white puffy foam. Light lacing. Aroma is a thick citrusy, resinous hop aroma, crystal malt, caramel. Taste is again nice and creamy feel, smooth caramel, oranges and grapefruit, line pine and resin. NomDeBeer (398), Maryland, USA Sep 30, 2009 Outstanding. Taste is chewy citrus hops, just enough caramel malt bachbone, and some alcohal presence to let you know this is an Imperial. Long bitter finish that deserves to be savored. Pipper (226), Ohio, USA Sep 29, 2009 Bomber thanks to thelizard. Beautiful medium clear orange pour with very little white head. Sweet juicy hops with the abv lurking behind. This is seriously delicious, I’ve been waiting for months now to crack it and was so happy I did. Now I just want a couple of cases of it so I can have it for always. potbeercollege (254), Boulder, Colorado, USA Sep 27, 2009 Tasting at GABF. yellow orange with thin to no white head.
