Commercial Description:
A hophead’s dream beer. This Imperial India Pale Ale has an opening salvo of mango, peach and citrus hop aromas that sit atop a pronounced caramel malt backbone. Although Dreadnaught is a strong and intensely hoppy ale, its complex flavors is both smooth and memorable. 9.5% ABV, 100 IBUs.

22oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber copper color with a thin mostly diminishing head that left little lacing. Aroma of hops; citrus, pine, floral, and a bit of alcohol with a touch of malt. Big hop flavor with a large orange character that balanced well with the malt and alcohol undertones. Medium body with a mildly lively carbonation and slight oily texture. The hop and alcohol finishing feel left me wanting this beer again. An excellent IIPA.

Bottle and tap. Wonderful orange amber with a beautiful lasting head. Huge citrus aroma mixed with the fruit blends perfectly. The wonderful bitterness is complimented by some mild light fruit sweetness. This is one of my favorite beers. Anyone who enjoys an IPA should try this beer.

Bomber from the brewery. Pours a burnt orange with minimal head. aroma has a bit of the peach, citrus, floral, and pine hops, some malt. Taste is mostly hops: flowers, citrus, pine, some fruit, with a slight alcoholic burn. Mouthfeel is full, lightly carbonated, sticky. Overall, this is a great bee. Impressive for the style, and in general, i recommend it.

Bottle. Amber beer with a thin off-white head. Summer/tropical fruit aroma with some grapefruit and pine. Tropical fruit and pine flavor with some grapefruit and a bit of caramel. Medium-plus body. Lingering fruit, malt, and a bit of dusty earthiness.

Appearance: amber copper color. Little head but lasting. Aroma: intensive, complex and nice hoppy aroma (similar to Behemoth Barleywine), with resinous touch. Liquory and sweet malty notes with reminiscences of whisky and cognac. Flavor: caramel malts in the start, progress of the complex hoppy with grassy, mint, menthol, cedar, pine, eucalyptus and grapefruit peel reminiscences. Other sweet touch like candy, honey, red tea and tea with lemon. A lot of reminiscences and complexities. Warming final. Aftertaste with menthol, caramel and hoppy notes. Palate: medium body and smooth texture. Remark: incredible beer. Acknowledgement: thank to <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/View-User-13456.htm&g for this wonderful beer.

huge aroma, mango, pine, hops, some citrus, orange peel, spices. Orange beige with a small but firm head. Very full taste, obvious hop bitterness, but very balanced, I was maybe expecting something over the top but this is very delicate. Loads of apricots and mango blended with bitter and some sweetness. Very very nice brew and big thank you to Tim for bringing this to Iceland.

22 oz bottle. Pours a deep orange, cloudy, with almost no head. Aroma of, you guessed it, hops, citrusy hops. Initial flavor is somewhat sweet, with fruits that come out as it warms a little (I think it is apricot, but it could be mango or some other fruit). Flavor turns drier with the hop presence. After taste is very hoppy and you tend to keep that taste in your mouth for a while. Light to medium body, limited carbonation, limited lacing, and obvious alcohol involved. Very drinkable, wish I had a fresher bottle, but you take what you can get.
