S- Smell is very sweet and citrusy with a very subtle hoppy pine aroma in the background.
T- Tastes of caramel, citrus and a slight hoppy bitterness. Extremely well balanced for a DIPA and not nearly as overbearing as I was expecting.
M- Mouthfeel is very thick with a low amount of carbonation. I personally would have liked a little more carbonation but it all seems to balance really well.
D- This is extremely drinkable, delicious and well balanced, couldn’t ask for much more from a DIPA.

Aroma – Huge Hops aroma, so much on the hops nothing else gets through.
Appearance – Dark golden in color, Nice head and slightly hazy with hops floating in my beer.
Flavor – A huge IPA flavor. This was perfect for dinner but it over took all senses. It was HUGE.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, great texture with a good Hopped Up dry finish.
Overall – One of the biggest IPA’s I have ever had. Huge flavor. It was teeth kicking time but also had flavors where it was actually drinkable. This was not for the timid pale ale drinkers of the world.

Very fiorm oily, earthy and flowery, somewhat perfumed hopbitter flavor. Long oily grapefruity, hopbitter aftertaste with rubber. Good beer, especially the aroma convinces. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 18, 2008 Draught at the Map Room, Chicago. This rich, bitter beer has a complex floral and citrus aroma and a boozy flavour which is massively bitter with some soft fruit. Personally, I prefer the sticky sweetness of Goose Island Imperial IPA and Three Floyds’ own Alpha King, but this was very good nevertheless.
