Drank at 55.4 degrees (courtesy of my little temp laser) Poured into a tulip glass with an hazy amber colour and a medium creamy off white head. Carbonation bubbles suck to the sides of the glass. Nose of grapefruit hops, dark fruits, sweet malts, and a touch of alcohol. Initial taste of light tingly bubbles over the tounge touched with a velvetly sweet malts covering the mouth. Oily and slight chewy. Caramel malts begin to surface. Finising bitter hops and sweet malts on the palate. The balance of hops is good and doesnt outweigh the begining malts. Palate duration is warming and good. Some head retention and nice thick sheets of lacing. Medium body. Chalky finish. Very drinkable. Phil (100), Kent, England

Malt and hop balance in the extreeeeeme. Yeah there are the heavy citrus/Pine and zesty notes - but they are together as one, rather than leaping like misguided springs. I love the oilyness - more a note that I’d expect from a RIS, weird, but in a good way.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 25, 2007 Yeasty cashew and walnut aroma. Hazy copper color, floating sediments, and no head. There is a strong bitter flavor of orange, pine, and yeast. Pine needle finish. Full bodied, more than strong enough, decent balance, but not great tasting. Enjoyit (1708), Vadum, Denmark
