Commercial Description:
A hophead’s dream beer. This Imperial India Pale Ale has an opening salvo of mango, peach and citrus hop aromas that sit atop a pronounced caramel malt backbone. Although Dreadnaught is a strong and intensely hoppy ale, its complex flavors is both smooth and memorable. 9.5% ABV, 100 IBUs.

A dark orange beer with no head. The aroma is very hoppy, sweet, and oily. The flavor is sweet and very hoppy and it has a very dry hoppy end. A very nice beer. Thanks to Jeppe (Bierkönig) for sharing this bottle.

(Bottle 65 cl) Nice amber colour with a small, off-white head. Spicy nose. Incredibly delicate hop character, sweetish almost honey-like with loads of caramel. Bitter not only in the finish -all the way through. Delicious. 170705

Bottled from growler, thanks hopsrus!!
Reddish amber with intense grapefruit aroma. Softly malty with an overwhelming soapy, flowery pine needle hop flavour. Grapefruit bitter finish. This is liquid hop juice, well accompanied by a massive body.

75 cL bottle, trade with ygtbsm94. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Pine, dry grapefruit. Flavour is mild caramel malt, very balanced fruity hops flavour. Lovely complex flavour of fruit, soft english hops, mild sweet caramel malt base, nice bitterness and with little raisin sweetness into the far finish. Smooooth and complex, lovely.

2003 still has the hops in the aroma but the flavor is all sweet crystal malt with only a hint of the hops, 2004 is still mostly sweet crystal malt with a bit more of the hops coming in the flavor but still light on the bitterness, 2005 aroma is same oxidized malt but the flavor is picking up even more citrus hops and a long bitter finish kicks in 2006 still has the oxidized aroma with just a touch more hops, flavor is well balanced between the hops and sweet crystal malt, 2007 aroma is spot on with fresh hops to balance the crystal malt, flavor is well balanced between the big hops and sweet crystal malt, lasting bitter finish carries the hop and malt flavor,
