Commercial Description:
A hophead’s dream beer. This Imperial India Pale Ale has an opening salvo of mango, peach and citrus hop aromas that sit atop a pronounced caramel malt backbone. Although Dreadnaught is a strong and intensely hoppy ale, its complex flavors is both smooth and memorable. 9.5% ABV, 100 IBUs.

Bright copper amber; large hop aroma - mint, grapefruit. Chewy and bitter palate - toffeeish malts and citrusy hops, sugar tarts, leaves. Chewy hops resonate in the lingering finish.

Copper color. Very nice hop aroma, with fruits (oranges, curaçao). Oily and malty, good but less interesting than other examples; strong final, aromatic, less long than others. Thanks Jeppe (Bierkönig) for sharing this bottle.

[Courtesy of yespr, session @ yespr] Hazy golden with tiny short lasting head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with hoppy notes. Flavor starts hoppy with sweet middle and nice bitter finish. Fruity with raisins, peach and grapefruit. Nice

(draft): Cloudy golden with small white head. Aroma is grapefruit nirvana, with pine around the edges. Taste is intense grapefruit, medium sweet, really yummy. Medium body.

Bottle Chris_o Shindig. Amber, thin white head. Great aroma of piney hops. Some tea flavour in the mouth. A lot better than I was expecting.

Golden amber color, not much head. Very strong aroma of blackcurrant leaves. Medium to full bodied. Aggressive sweet honeyish hoppyness, some blackcurrant also in the flavor. Unbalanced, not my cup of tea.

Thanks a lot Daniel/TheCheeseMan for this very nice beer. It’s dark orange-golden with a red hue and a small head. The aroma is wonderfully hoppy with notes of oranges, pine needles, apricot, papaya and mango. The flavour has a smooth bitterness and is very complex and fruity. I find notes of papaya, mango, oranges, caramel and a light sweetness - it’s not easy to describe the balance, it seems so perfect. The finish has a slightly dry grapefruit note.

Bottle. Copper colour with a small white head. Hoppy fruity aroma and a mild hoppy almost sweet taste. Medium to full body and a sweet light dry alcoholic finish.
