How can it get any better? Deep hazy orange, creamy white head. I could smell this beer all night. Nose is chock full of sticky sweet pine, grapefruit, caramel, brown sugar, with a hint of apricot. Flavor is an intense hoppy bitterness with a sweet rich malty backbone for balance. Just awesome. Full bodied, soft carbonation, smooth, bitter-sweet, mojave dry finish. Glad I can find this any day, any time. Believe the hype and find yourself some ASAP!

Starboard, a massive grapefruit sun illuminates a whole flotilla...The faintest vernal whisper gleams and reflects unto the stretched sail as our main galleon is adorned by every species of hops known to flourish...Ambrosial jewels glitter on the vines and trees which they share; green apple, white grape and mandarine juices are bursting from the skins they have torn, creating elating, frugal fireworks explosions...The ventriloquist hops assume all of their possible incarnations and dance ecstatic in their wood, citrus and grass avatars...Tight-laced wild honey and smooth caramel evoke a love-thought...The clean have definitely been separated from the unclean for this crushed forest wine...Swallowing this flavorful iconography, I drift aloft and gaze into contentment...Yes folks, I am carrying, with one hand, the Garden of Noah’s Ark...

I finally got to meet Dreadnaught, fully ready to be underwhelmed, and bitch and gripe about the power of suggestion, etc. Geez was I wrong. This stuff kicks ass! This is a huge brew, but neither over-hoppy, nor over-malty. Cantaloupe, pecans, cherries and an overt but pleasant graininess exude from long distances from this hazy light brown beer (much lighter than I would have expected). Flavor includes hints of ashes, carrot, considerable grapefruit and finishes with only a moderate bitterness. This is an unbelievable beer, fully deserving of its reputation. Thanks Indra!

BIG Oktoberfest: The program said only Alpha King and Gumballhead would be attending, but then these bombers came out, and my mouth almost hit the floor, a great suprise. Golden color with a small white head. Huge aroma of hops. The first sip clung to my mouth. Thicker than I expected. Very hoppy as anticipated. It was the only beer that I got seconds on all day. Simply great.

Piney, citrusy aroma- thick orange appearance, it poured slow-motion into the glass. Tiny bubbles fighting their way to the top. A mouthful feels like something between liquid and jello. First a powerful taste of hops and then sweet maltiness. Pine needle hops splash against the back of the throat. This beer is so good the tongue is insufficient- you have to taste it with your throat! The flavor is simply transporting. Its not a beer, its an experience. Thanks Ed!

This is the beer I've been waiting to try for a long time. Man o' man! Hops are abound in this beer; and it is balanced incredibly well. The finish is simply a work or art. This beer doesn't fuck around, it tells you just what it is. Believe the hype!

Pours orange with a medium head. Aroma is grapefruit and pine. As for hops, you get a great flavor followed by a heavy bitterness which is balanced by a thick sweetness.

Pours out w a nice thick(quickly dissapating)head.Great lacing.Has that wonderful deep orange/copper/hazy color.Nice taste/more balanced than the alpha king.I was expecting an assault of hoppage(it was a perfect blend of sweet malt and great hops)Very smooth on the tongue.Nice dry finish.Hard to find & expensive but well worth the expirience.Yummy heady hops w/ the perfect malt complement.Time has told me(Nick Drake)this is my favorite beverage labele beer.Nothing like being there(Coventry)w/ a Dreadnaught in hand.
