Commercial Description:
A hophead’s dream beer. This Imperial India Pale Ale has an opening salvo of mango, peach and citrus hop aromas that sit atop a pronounced caramel malt backbone. Although Dreadnaught is a strong and intensely hoppy ale, its complex flavors is both smooth and memorable. 9.5% ABV, 100 IBUs.

Re-rate: Bottle. Pours a nice golden amber with a thick white head. This is an awesome IPA. The aroma is very hoppy with hints of citrus, malts, and pine. This beer has the most fresh hops smell I have encountered. It is balanced for the amount of hops as it goes down. On the pallet, there is a hop explosion with malts coming out. The finish is an awesome bitter bite.

Pours a hazy, mostly orange copper with a frothy white head that leaves some nice lacing. The aroma is chock full of pine needles, pineapple, grapefruit, and mango. The flavor is sweet and malty at first, a little fruity, then incredibly bitter and full of alpha acids. Nice long finish and a chewy palate. awesome. The king of hop bombs.

Probably my favorite beer from FFF. Unbelieveable hops taste just hits you from the first sip to the aftertaste. Citrusy taste with the bitterness of an IPA but not overpowering in the least bit. This one manages to take every IPA taste out there and put it all in one beer without over-emphazising any one taste. Somehow FFF manages to get their typical brewery taste into this one in full force.

As soon as the beer is poured, aromas of citrus and piney hops come out and flood your senses. The smell reminds me of a walk through a pine stand on a rainy spring day. Grapefruit and orange come forward on the nose as well. The taste is huge, first it hits you with hoppy grapefruit, with a nice dry finish. The beer is also balanced a bit with some nice malt flavors like a bit of chocolate and caramel.

On tap at FFF. Nearly flawless - this and Pliny the Younger are the best examples of this style there are. Clear deep golden-copper color with a nice white head. Aroma is citrusy hops and sweet caramel malt. Really enticing. Strong hops deliver a backhanded pimp-slap off the bat that hits you like a Mack Truck in the ass. Malty sweetness is right there with it to balance. Flavor is top-notch and finish is smooth with hop oils coating your tongue. It’s really too bad you can only get this stuff in Munster, Indiana.

Bottle shared with soicanbreathe and WHAT A BOTTLE...oh my! Perfect amber pour, cloudy and delicious. Aromas of malt, floral and sweet hops and mango. Flavor is sweet and malty with such wonderful hops. Holy shit I think I found a beer better than Bells Two Hearted. Amazing. Someone hook me up with another bottle! ASAP!

Pours a deep orange with gold around the edges, almost tan head that lasts a short time. Nose full of floral, yeasty hops with fig and peach accents. Explosion of deep flavors. Fruity stone fruit highs with a with an almost quadruplel style backbone. Amazed! How did they fit trappist complexity and depth into an IPA without sacrificing the distinctive kick of fresh hops? Notes of toast and bread ground the malty middle for a truly amazing beer.

Bottle and tap. Wonderful orange amber with a beautiful lasting head. Huge citrus aroma mixed with the fruit blends perfectly. The wonderful bitterness is complimented by some mild light fruit sweetness. This is one of my favorite beers. Anyone who enjoys an IPA should try this beer.
