Commercial Description:
A hophead’s dream beer. This Imperial India Pale Ale has an opening salvo of mango, peach and citrus hop aromas that sit atop a pronounced caramel malt backbone. Although Dreadnaught is a strong and intensely hoppy ale, its complex flavors is both smooth and memorable. 9.5% ABV, 100 IBUs.

Man, for a while this was my Holy Grail of beers. I had heard so much about it that I wasn’t sure if it could live up to the hype. I am happy to say that it lived up to its reputation, and then some. HUGE burst of citrus at the front that gives way to a pleasant alcohol warmth and finishes with a fairly dry hop crispness. LOVED this beer. Now, the question is, Dreadnaught or Hopslam? Right now, I have to go with the Hopslam. But, I have also had a lot more of it than the Dreadnaught. Thanks to The Keg Liquors in Clarksville for being so close and carrying so many good beers. I will be back!!!

22 oz. bottle from Delock’s Liquor in Munster, IN. Golden orange pour with a thick, creamy white head. Aroma of pineapple, mango, grapefruit, and pine. Bitter grapefruit hop flavor balanced with caramel malt sweeteness. Alcohol virtually unnoticed. Mind-blowingly good. Near the top of its class.

Nice orange pour with a wonderful fruit, pine and citrus aroma!!!!! Outstanding peach flavor and superb finish. This needs to be in every house hold and the world would be a more peaceful place.

my favorite regular offering from my favorite brewery, topped only by their anniversary ale and of course, dark lord.

Picked up the Last bottle in Woodmans in Onalaska. Pours a orangish color with hints of red. Aroma of pine, earth and different fruits. Bitterness is easy to handle and alchol isnt very present. Very grassy, earthy, and citris flavors. The best double ipa i have had and easily one i could drink all day.

Just a beautiful beer. I mean honestly this is just a sight to behold. The aroma itself is enough to knock you on your ass. Iridescent and extremely colorful, a deep amber hue with a frothy head that dissipates quickly but the aroma sticks around throughout. The hops aroma is just overpowering. I could taste this beer forever, just this side of perfection.

Bottle, poured a nice red/amber color. Small white head that left a nice lacing around the glass. Smelled hoppy with a burst of citrus. "Once it hits your lips" flavor takes over your taste buds. You can taste the mango! Realy sweet, yet not girly or candy sweet. It still has a nice bite from the bitterness. Perfect texture, easy to drink. It was the great beer I was looking for and did not dissapoint at all. Best DIPA out there! Thanks Josh!*****UPDATE****Josh recently sent me a fresh bottle, cant get any better IMO!

On tap at FFF. Nearly flawless - this and Pliny the Younger are the best examples of this style there are. Clear deep golden-copper color with a nice white head. Aroma is citrusy hops and sweet caramel malt. Really enticing. Strong hops deliver a backhanded pimp-slap off the bat that hits you like a Mack Truck in the ass. Malty sweetness is right there with it to balance. Flavor is top-notch and finish is smooth with hop oils coating your tongue. It’s really too bad you can only get this stuff in Munster, Indiana.
