Not overated at all, an incredible DIPA. Despite the IBU’s, not one flavor dominates with the citrusy and sweet backing. Thick with almost no foam, it goes down real smooth, but take it slow. Will definetly grab more the next time I see it. smith4498 (921), Miami, Florida, USA

Strong citrus aroma of grapefruit and oranges and some sugary sweetness. Nice amount of hop bitterness without overdoing it. Lots of citrus and some pine balanced with a touch of sweet caramel maltiness, no too sugary or syrupy. Medium body with average carbonation and a resinous mouthfeel. Excellent! illidurit (896), Santa Cruz, California, USA

Sweet grapefruit, pine sap, biscuity malt, some sweeter citruses like tangerine and orange on the nose.
Hops obviously control the show here, but the range of hop flavors keeps it from being overly one-dimensional. Obviously grapefruit has a strong presence, as well as orange, citrus zest, and maybe even peach. A decent amount of malt futilely fights the whirlwind of hops.
The carbonation really is perfect. I can’t imagine a more finely carbonated IPA. I spent about as much time swirling the beer around the glass and watching the cascades of lacing form and dissolve as I did drinking! Mesmerizing stuff. Great brew. mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA

Slightly pine and citrus aroma that just got better with time. Sweet malt backbone complimented the hop bitterness. It was a DIPA that drank link an IPA. When can I get some more? jpaliga10 (7), Indiana, USA does not count | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Apr 23, 2008 Pours extremely clear with a light copper color.
