1FastSTi (2423), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA Jul 14, 2008 Thanks to whomever shared this. The beer pours to a clean orange body with a thin white head. The aroma is fruity pineapple and other hoppy fruits. The flavor is hoppy grasses and pine with fruity blends. Kind of yeasty. The palate is ok, medium-bodied. Like a hoppy alcholic amber beer.
teamrassas (9), USA does not count Nov 29, 2008 A decent anniversary beer not quite as over the top great as the others. Still quite good medium abmer, the jasmine wasn’t to overbearing. Nephilium (448), Ohio, USA Nov 29, 2008 Slight grapefruit aroma, with hints of jasmine in the background. Pours a clear amber with a dusting of white head. Interesting flavor, but seems to be a bit too much jasmine. The spice flavor comes forward beyond even the hops. It finishes with a tannin bitter finish. Seems like they were close to getting what they wanted, but it just seems a bit off. jaymobrown (1304), Chicago, Illinois, USA Nov 26, 2008 Poured a lighter, watered-down cola color. Good head, couple of inches of white/off-white foam. Aroma is fruity, but also heavily balanced with malts, breads, yeast, cracker. The taste as well. Would not have guessed this was an IPA. The hop presence was there, but given 3F’s other beers, this rated pretty low. I guess it doesn’t have to be hopped out of this world, but a bit more (can’t believe I’m saying this) would be nice. Most of the flavors balanced on light fruits and malt. BOLTZ7555 (585), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Nov 18, 2008 Brassy pour produces a 2-finger fluffy white head. Aroma is surprisingly sweet and truly indicative of iced tea. Flavor also is all Lipton!!! Minimal hop presence and tastes as if it was brewed using a tea bag...malty, grainy, yuck. Hophead22 (359), Redlands, California, USA Nov 18, 2008 22oz bottle. Dark amber pour, nice white head. Light malty aroma. Smooth malty taste, not a lot of hop presence, but a little hoppiness in the aftertaste. Kind of dissapointing for an anniversary beer, but not bad.
