| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Clear gold. Small creamy white head. Crisp, grainy malt and floral, earthy, and bitter hops. I’d like more hops- fragrant and light, a drier finish, also. Medium body, balanced, real easy to drink. Decent. AOF (282), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 2, 2007 I forgot. This is my 200th tasting. Poured from a bomber. Cloudy, light golden amber color. An overall maltiness surrounded by hints of yeast, grain and lemongrass with a nice hoppy finish. Well balanced, but a pretty boring style to begin with. 3F did the most they could with it. tjthresh (1778), Greenfield, Indiana, USA

Pours hazy straw yellow with a short lived snow white head
Strong noble hop aroma, and lots of pilsner malt, grainy scent.
I’m tasting a corny pilsner malt sweetness, with a smidge or hop flavor and bitterness.
Medium body. Above average amount of carbonation. A bit oily.
I don’t know what folks are looking for here. I mean, its a helles. One of the most straight forward beers you can get. Most will not get the high marks that and imperial stout or IIPA. This is a fine beer. adrian910ss (1434), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
