Aroma is malt, flavor is malt weak, earthy light hop. Great session beer but this has nothing to do with Dark Lord. It fits the syle well, but is not a extraordinary beer. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA

It is smooth, easy to drink, and crisp. Easily sessionable, flavorful, and just slightly dry paired with a slightly sweet, candyish syrupy citrus quality. Quite European in nature. I like this for the style.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 7, 2009 Hazy, light straw colored with a small pure white head. Aroma is herbal and somewhat mineral, along with a sweet breadiness, some melon, and a touch of mustiness. Grainy, bready flavor with a touch of honey is accompanied by a slight acidity and a very crisp hoppiness. Wow, I really thought this would be a over the top take on the style, but this is actually a pretty authentic take. This would make a fine session brew, I would imagine a cask version would be beautiful. Tmoney99 (4739), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
