| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 7, 2009 Thanks Korb for the B-Day bottle from Chicago! Pours a slightly-hazed, golden straw into the glass, with a thin soapy ring that leaves light window-wash lace. The nose is of bubblegum and wheatgrass. Flavors of multiple kitchen spices, some bread, with wheat and grains touching the mid-palate. The finish closes with a nice grassy hop... very light, and a nice close to an easy quaff. Quite tasty and well-balanced for a helles.... robust carbonation and lightly-textured for a smooth pull. Decent!
