Slightly hazy. An original wheat. Hops dominate the aroma and flavor while strong lemon-grapefruit notes balanced by a malty uncurrent. This delicious brew finishes with the flavor of sweetened grapefuit zest. A very crisp, refreshing summer beer. drfabulous (1225), Columbia, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 9, 2008 Like no wheat I’ve had. Lacking all those traditional flavors. Refreshing is a good adjective. It is light. Like a straight up ale. I like how 3F messes with the concept of a wheat here. djcoolhark (21), South Bend, Indiana, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 8, 2008 A great light beer with a citrus hop taste. A lighter taste that’s not overpowering but still has the typical hop FFF taste. Very refreshing, very light. A bright yellow appearance, mildly hazy. beerbill (1939), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 7, 2008 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with yem25. Pours a very hazy yellow gold with a moderate white head that quickly faded to a film and left virtually no lace. Strong aroma of pine along with some banana and lemon notes. The flavor is a bit of a disappointment. Heavily herbal with some pine as well. There is no lemon, banana or wheat for that matter. More bitter at the finish than I was expecting too. An interesting beer, but not what I would choose for an everyday wheat beer. daknole (2882), Plantation, Florida, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 4, 2008 Crystal clear deep golden hue with a thin white head. Aroma is all hops, and nothing but the hops! Big amarillo citrus punch in the nose. Flavor is decidedly delicious. Big malty backbone - almost rich honey flavors - thn a big lemon zest fresh citrus finish - but not tart. A fine beer - well balanced while stilll giving us a great amarillo profile. sleestak (186), Williamston, Michigan, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. The pour is straw colored and so clear you can read a newspaper through your pint glass. (What a nerdy coatings chemist like myself might call a "10 haze".) The thin white head is not long for this world, but leaves behind thin lacing on the glass. Nose is grass and bubblegum with a surprising amount of citrus hop aroma. Taste follows that template, and ends with a crisp, slightly bitter finish. Easily one of the most refreshing, drinkable summer beers available. hogan873 (323), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 1, 2008 Straw-colored with a fine white head. Powerful aroma of banana, bubblegum, and spice. Lively and spicy on the palate. Leads to a very tasty wheat beer. Malt, yeast, bubblegum, and pepper. Slightly bitter aftertaste. A delicious wheat beer.
