Three Floyds has a great assortment of delicious beers and this did not change my opinion of that. From start to finish, a symphony of amarillo and citrus bursts capped off with a smooth well balanced aroma. Both pleasant to the smell and taste, this one should be liked by most beer lovers. Wheat bread, grain, lemon zest, bubblegum sweetness, and tropical fruit (mango and papaya). Very easy to drink and tasty, but not all that complex. 17thfloor (1447), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Updated: Jul 30, 2008Pours orange, slightly hazy, with a large foamy/sudsy white head. Candied wheat malt, citrus, grapefruit and some spices in the aroma. Sweet and bitter with too much alcohol showing for something thats only 4.8%. A little bit salty and some bubblegum flavor. Average palate, slightly sticky. Not nearly as good as I would have thought by how fast it flies off the shelf.

I’ve been eager to try this for a while now, and it’s a pleasant, refreshing beer on this first truly warm day of the year. Golden and full bodied, with an energetic, overflowing head. It’s got a pleasant aroma, with ripe peaches, modest spice, and sweet flowers. The body’s just a touch thin, and the finish is bitter and dry. Pretty good. kiefdog (1585), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2008 12 oz. bottle via trade from Acknud. Pours straw yellow/gold with a small, fizzy, white head that is rimming. Smells of wheat with sugary, cotton candy type vibe. Taste is skunky wheat with slight fruit, a touch of sweet candy and moderate bitterness. Decent, I"m thinkin’ this one may have had a bit to much age on it, and fresher is better.
