Hank1980 (734), Athens, Georgia, USA Mar 19, 2008 Poure golden with a good sized white head that dissapates quickly. Lacing on the glass. Aroma of heavy hops, not thinking this is a wheat. Taste is very hopped. Wheat not really present. Taste is of grassey, fresh, piney hops and a light malt backing. Body is medium (esp for style) with light carbonation. May be the bottle I’ve got but this seems more like an APA. Very good though. mixinnixon2000 (227), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 18, 2008 Bottle. pours with small whitish yellow head. color is orangish yellow. Quite light in flavor. this would be a good summer brew. Oxymoron (104), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Mar 18, 2008 The color is a hazy darker yellow with some cloudiness but you still are able to gaze through the glass. A frothy head that disappears quickly and limited lacing. The aroma is strong in the hops especially for a wheat beer. A slight citrus orange smell with some pine action going on. The taste is strong hopped for a wheat. Not a big surprise from Three Flyods. A piney somewhat grassy taste at the top and then blends with a sweeter orangey malt backing. Hint of lemongrass and grapefruit are good descriptive words for the taste. The tang of the hops remains throughout the aftertaste and leaves a metallic or chalky taste. The body is light with limited carbonation, which is ok per style. I like that it is very unique in taste, but I think per style it’s off. bdigital (585), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 12, 2008 12 oz. Bottle: First off, this is a beautiful looking brew. Light copper in color with a nicely sized, foamy white head. Sweet citrus wheat aroma with some amazing floral notes and a subtle spiced aspect to compliment it. Medium-light bodied mouth feel. Crisp, clean tasting wheat flavor with a bit of pine and floral hops...mild citrus undertones. This stuff is absolutely amazing when its fresh and is my favorite summer brew. nimrod (53), USA Mar 8, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured transparent, crisp amber. Aroma is a dominating white grape juice, with piny and floral tones. I could taste some honey, grapefruit, and the grape juice again. Small amounts of hops and a good balance. Haven’t had a wheat beer in a while, so this was a nice change of pace. Good session beer. Drink4Satan (585), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA Mar 7, 2008 Pours a slightly hazed orange colour with a minimal but retainig off-white head. The nose is mild, with tropical citrus, honey and wheat. The flavour is hoppy, slightly acidic with a zesty lemon finish. Suggestions of orange, flavours of wheat and toasted grain and bitter hops. Very thin mouthfeel that has a creaminess from the wheat. A nice refrshing brewski. emerica56 (575), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA Mar 7, 2008 Pours a cloudy orange hazy color with a head that faded just as quick as the pour. You can really smell a lot of hops with some minor light fruits on the nose. The initial flavor was rather bitter and you could really taste the hints of fruit along the sides of your mouth. The finish is a bit watery but still the hop bitterness stays in your mouth trough the entire duration of the beer. markwise (1132), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA Mar 5, 2008 This is a very creative use of hops. I am impressed. The beer pours hazy slightly-red yellow color, it has a large head that is spurred on by the sugary lemon aroma. At first taste I am not sure if this is lemon or hops and as I go I enjoy the balance. It is so balanced that it finishes with only a slight tang. Good stuff,
