Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

Pours a cloudy light yellow color with a frothy white head that condenses but refreshes itself throughout the entire drinking process. Laces the glass slightly. Smells nice and hoppy but mellow hoppy not bitter or aggressive. A little grassy but not overwhelming. Tastes of a well balanced but liberal dose of hops. Great beer to start on if your just getting into hops. Palate is a bit on the thick side for such a light colored brew. Insane carbonation at first but the carbonation fades at about half glass. Pretty awesome beer, I really dig it and will do my best to get more.

Thanks kryptic and Jay23 for the opportunity to experience this one 22 oz bomber poured into a Weizen glass produced a clear golden yellow. Along with a large billowy white head that lasts a good long time Tons of citrus, hops, wheat and yes bubblegum aroma’s fill up my head A wonderfully clean and crisp palate The flavors of this one are extremely well balanced for a wheat beer not to sweet not to tart Kind of like Goldilocks “just right” Very drinkable beer made me think it was summertime even though I’m looking at snow outside my window right now

(Tap) Pours a dark golden color with a medium-sized white head. Aroma of fruit and wheat malts. Taste is citrusy and includes a lot of yeast notes. Good palate for the style and a light mouthfeel. Another enjoyable 3F beer!

12oz bottle acquired in trade with Acknud. Wow! My first FFF was a great one! Pours a lightly hazed sunrise yellow. Head was white and about 1 finger thick. Peach, apricot, honey, lemon grass and yeast dominate the aroma. On the palate was mostly fruity and a bit yeasty. Hands down the best wheat beer I’ve ever had......Thanks Acknud!

[1040-20080112] 650mL (w/ garthicus, HogTownHarry, jerc, mds, Radek Kliber; Vintage 2007). Sweet citrus navel orange hops aroma. Clear, yellow orange body with a quick foamy white head. Lemon citrus hops continues in the flavour. Medium body. Mellowed due to time in the fridge but still enjoyable -- would like to re-rate with a fresher sample.

Great deep golden color.. crystal clear, light head. Strong hoppy aroma. Flavor of strong hops.. underlying notes of wheat, very crisp finish. So enjoyable. Had this one sitting in the fridge for about 8 months, opened it in the dead of winter. Cant wait for the summer to get another bottle. Light body and so easy to drink.

Draft. Pours a golden/yellow color. Aroma is sweet, hoppy and almost lemony. Light bodied and easy to drink. Lightly flavored of wheat and almost bubblegum and lemon in the background, finishing nicely with Hops.

This gold couldn’t be any more crystal clear. Corn starch, mint, lemonade, and soft metallics in the aroma. Aged. Tastes of sour grain, dry grass, creamed corn, tea leaves, and rotted citrus. Hops are buried and anything lively imparted by the wheat has lost its zest. Crisp and almost medium in body; leaves a sour green apple, honey, and sugary lemonade residue to coat the mouth after swallowing. If this had an expiration date it seems that it would be long since past; this will merit a revisit eventually, but the basic character here provides little of promise.
