Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

Bottle from Capones, gift from Stegosaurus and sampled with Dennis Bell. Slightly hazed golden pour with thick head. Aroma of mild hop and fruit. Lemon taste sweet as well with mild hop. It was just ok for me. Not the typical wheat beers I am used too.

Poured amber with fluffy white head. Aroma of hops and fruit. Nice hop flavor with some citrus background. Light and refreshing for a hot day.

(660ml bottle) Trade with Ughsmash. Pours a large, white frothy head with a clouded deep amber body. Nose is somewhat wild but is drawn back by a tinny aroma. Flavour is rather thin and lame. I get a strong taste of modeling glue. This is really, really disappointing as I’ve had this on my BeerList for a long time.

22 oz bottle. Aroma of hops... lots of west coast hops. Grapefruit and pine. Hint of coriander spice. Pours hazy gold with minimal head. Very much like a West Coast IPA on the palate. Lots of bright, fruity and dry hops. Just a hint of wheat beer flavor. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

22oz bomber, 2007 vintage, deep golden color, full head that is slow in dissipating, smells of citrus and weeping willow (no kidding..), really nice full body, lemon, pine, pepper... hops, lots of glorious hops for a wheat beer. Nothing else like it!

Aroma of orange, peach, grapfruit. Herbal and citrus in the mouth with a pleasant lemon-orange-infused bitterness. Refreshing finish with some linger bitterness in the sides of the mouth. A new style? WAPA?

cheers goes to Mgumby for this one! Has alot of barley wine characteristics, hints of molasses and caramel. Pours blonde with a white head. The 4.8% surprises me! I thought this was a wheat wine from the taste! Which is great, tons of flavor with lower alcohol.

Pours a copper amber color with a small white head. Smells of sweet malts, very mild wheat, and yeast. Hops were there too, but just faint traces. The taste was very malty as well, the wheat seemed to be in the background. Almost had some barleywine characteristics to it, which were unusual. Sweet little finish. Some cinnamon, wheat, and malts in the aftertaste. Didnt taste much like a wheat, but still tasty.
