Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

Thanks to Miketd for the 22oz bottle! Excellent session beer for the hot and humid weather in NC. Pours gold with light head and organic honeycomb patterned lacing! Amarillo hops up front wheat on the back. Faint gum aroma/flavor.

Super duper summer refresher refresher. Light on alchol and body. Much more ale than larger and not too bready or yeasty. Lot of lemon. A session brew.

Hazy yellow color. Smell of wheat, hops, citrus peal and lemons. Taste of hops. wheat, flowers, citrus, lemon zest and sugar. The hops are great in this one.

Three Floyds uses aggressive hopping to elevate a mundane style to a decent drinkier. Hazy canary yellow body is topped by a tall white head. Pine cone, citrus rind, and wheat in the aroma. Aggressively bitter hops to the taste. Too aggressive in a wheat for my palate. Hints of lemon and black pepper underneath. Dry finish.

For a wheat, this one was amazingly hoppy! I loved the citrusy astringency the hop oils provided. Very refreshing on a hot Great Taste of the Midwest day. Smooth, solid mouthfeel. Fairly bitter but fruity and, well, awesome. Great beer.

Did not know what to expect out of this brew, but was pleasently surprised. I knew this would be a hopped up wheat, but they did a good job incorporating the two flavors. the hops hit strong at first and then finishes with a nice wheat flavor. very good, very interesting. three floyds never disappoints me as a hophead.

12 oz bottle. Pale yellow with average white creamy head, yet with fairly large bubbles. A lot of citrus hops like any good three floyds beer. Flavor is very fresh, pine and citrus hops, some light wheat qualities, a lot of fruit, no banana though. Very creamy, med body. Nice hopped up wheat.

Nice citrus hop scent, pours a clear yellow, with a quickly fading white head. The flavor has a strong beginning of crisp hops, but I’m barely picking up any wheat notes at all. It is very light on the palate, and very drinkable. However, like most of the FFF stuff, the price knocks down it’s overall score. I can get much better beers for half the price.
