Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

One of my favoriet summer offerings at FFF’s. Easy drinking and tasty. Refreshing and delicious. Nice hop charater and bitter hoppy finish.

Wow. Smells amazing from the time you pop the cap. Very crisp and fruity. Tastes just as good as it smells. Very strong fruit and hoppy flavor.

22oz Bomber @ Coles. Buffalo, NY. Extremely hopped up Pilsner. Not your typical wheat. Very similar to prima Pils in the hop sense. Very enjoyable & love the label & tshirts

650ml Bottle @ Decemberfest 2006: Love the branding here, very interesting bottle. Poured out hazy and yellow, not much head. The aroma is yeasty with lots of lemon and grapefruit. The flavour is quite hoppy, way more than anticipated, and features a very light body. The hops are chased by bread, yeast, grapefruit, and lemon. Quite pleasing, actually, and I loved the surprise bounty of hops.

Hoppy aroma with some grainy scents as well. Nice see through golden color with a huge white head. The palate is medium with low carbonation. Lots of malt flavors with a bitter finish--reminds me of a pilsner actually.

Aroma’s were of hops and malt.Pours a very light copper with a big white head.Light malts with some nice hops in the flavor. This beer was a little thin but had some nice hops in the finish.I’ve had this one a while and would like to try this one fresh to see the difference.

22 oz bottle from my secret santa! pours wheat-colored with light carbonation, and tons of yellowy citrusy hops - jeez, Three Floyds really like hops. clearly an americanized yeast strain as many of the esters and banana and clove aromas are missing, and are not present in the flavor either. slightly creamy from the wheat but only medium-bodied overall. hoppy finish but not particularly bitter - very drinkable and i like the relatively light 4.8%, it would be easy to drink a good amount of this. in fact, one of few beers i don’t mind in 22 oz ’bomber’ form.

Bomber. Pours a hazy amber with a large head. Very good retention. Aroma of lemon, wheat and citrus/hops. This is one of my favorite wheat beers. Tastes of grapefruit, pears, a little balancing sweet malt. Spicy with a clean finish.
