Now, 3F uses just a ton of hops in everything they make, blurring the line between styles.....so much so that I wonder if their brewers can tell their products apart. I’d be hard pressed to diferentiate this from Alpha King. So, I don’t know if I’d associate this with other wheats I’ve drank. That being said, I did enjoy this. Citrusy front end with a medium fisted hop finish. Well worth the money.....get this if you see it. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2006 (650 ml bottle) A bit shady golden color, white head. Hoppy bitter scent, sweet, orange stuffed with cloves. A bit of yeast. Hoppy and bitter taste with some "X-mass" spices like pommerance peels and cloves. Rather high bitterness. Wouldn’t guess it for a wheat beer at all. Rather nice if you disregard the lack of "wheat style" in it though. waolsen (1222), Littleton, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 5, 2006 bottle. this is not your traditional wheat. slightly hazy golden/copper pour with thick off white head. nice lacing. fresh wheat, citrus, lemon and hops in the initial nose. Caramel and honey as well. wheats and grain define the body but this is dangerously close to a mild IPA. Nice carbonation, citrus hops and bitter ending. Great tasting brew. Attractive citrusy hop nose and flavor with a nice dash of bitterness on the tongue. Kind of like a wheaty IPA. Delicious. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England
