Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

Bottle. Damn this is a wheat IPA, awesome. Poured a light, hazy, golden color with a medium sized white head. Nice effervesence and lacing. Amarillo hops definitely take center stage in this brew both in aroma and flavor. As the beer warms and opens the wheat becomes more present and it works perfect with the hops. Very nice.

This beer must be drank fresh! The hop profile on this is awesome. Citrusy, some pine and grapefruit. But its mostly the nose. The beer is a interesting twist on the wheat beer style. There is more hops there than a usual wheat beer. The taste of this beer is great when its fresh. Thanks cexshun for the extra.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Sahara Mart (Bloomington, IN), 5/15/09
Part of the totally and completely made up"The Geororodanda Beer Sampling Party"

Aroma: Citrusy sweet nose, some light fruit
Appearance: Nice gold/yellow color, hazy, nice lacing
Flavor: Really nice citrus fruit flavor, really hoppy for a wheat
Palate: Nice medium body
Overall Impression: A pretty nice wheat, one of the better ones that I can remember, maybe the best. Why don’t more breweries hop up their wheats like this? It really worked!

Bottle thanks to punkrkr27.. Thanks Steve!! Pours a nice golden color with a thin white lacing head.. Smells more like a pale ale with some citrusy hops and little bit of bread and grapefruit..Nice citrus hop bite with nice carbonation that makes this one uber easy to drink..I love it!! Thanks again Steve you really do rock for sending this one.

Pour is a clear dark yellow, light orange. Similar to filtered apple juice. Not much head, foamy and white. Aroma of lemon, yeast, orange, hoppy. Good hop bite. Light malt, floral notes, heavy citrus. Thin body in the mouth. Very drinkable as a session beer.

On tap at Brixie’s, Brookfield, IL. Pint served as a hazy gold tone with a modest, foamy white head. The aroma was malt, light pine then citrus. The flavor reflected the same with a little grain and a pleasant dryness to the finish. Light and very sessionable.

On tap @ the Ida Noyes Pub. Pours a satisfactory white head, golden and surprisingly clear for an unfiltered wheat ale. Characteristically hoppy FFF nose, w/ the Amarillo coming through especially. Spice and citrus, thin in the mouth and quenching. I liked the Oberon better.
