scrizzz (1252), kirkland, Washington, USA Feb 23, 2009 Clean soft gold, hardly any head. Clean juicy hops, wet with pineapple and mango. So clean the hops jump right out and fade out quickly. I don’t see much in the way of wheat, yet this is more along what I would brew for a wheat ale. arrogantb (695), Denver, Colorado, USA Feb 23, 2009 Thanks to stfun37 for this 12oz beer. It smells very lemony just as the label states. Golden yellow with some fizz at the top. This has a very strange taste some lemon but also slightly fishy, what the hell? There is something very strange about this beer that I just don’t quite get.

Pours bright golden with slight haze and small off-white head. Estery, fruity aroma. Grainy body. Delightful backbone of beer that is not yeasty at all, just loads of character, sweet grain and wheat malt character. I am loving this full-flavored characterful beer. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Feb 21, 2009 Pour is a hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is a a very nice hop especially for a wheat ale. Flavor is some grain and citrus hops but nothing really stands out. A odd beer with the araoms of a pale ale but the flavor of a wheat. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA Feb 17, 2009 Golden in color with a small head. Aroma is of citrus, hops, wheat and some grass. Taste is of grass and grapefruit with a moderate hop bitterness. mnovacanes (48), Munster, Indiana, USA Feb 16, 2009 Updated: Apr 9, 2009Appearance: has some red tones from the red wheat; otherwise a light orange, almost golden; pretty clear slight haze like they say; however, loses points for very little head
Aroma: very enjoyable; has a slight rye presence to go along with fruity wheat; gumballs are not out of the question; the amarillo hops seem to show a light American citrus feel but not too present
Flavor: Frankly, it’s delicious! Wheat and rye nicely blended; light malty sweetness provides just enough of a presence;
Mouthfeel: medium body; high carbonation; average texture; above average finish TearsforBeers (171), Ohio, USA Feb 15, 2009 On tap at Chumley’s
Clear yellow amber in my glass. Smells like citrusy hops, not very wheaty, but great. The flavor is very hoppy, balanced with malt, and there might be some wheat in there, I can’t really tell, but I like it anyway. The mouthfeel is thin and refreshing. I like the fact that this isn’t very high in alcohol. This is a good ’un. jamvin23 (162), chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 15, 2009 On tap. Dark golden hazy and light brown head. Aroma: big hops and is slightly sweet Flavor: dry wheat flavor some bitterness.
